Anyone watching Monsieur Spade?
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Just watched it last night. I think the writers picked random movies out of a hat and then mashed up the concepts and said, but how can we take it further, like too far, too too far.

At the recommendation from RedLetterMedia's latest "Talk about" I watched Dinner in America. Good leads and a fun story. I agree with their love of Kyle Gallner.

You are out of your damn mind if you don't think I'm seeing Twisters a dozen times.

I used to watch the original religiously as a kid. I'm excited.

I look forward to the follow up to the Tommy Lee Jones blockbuster... Volcanoes.

I am always pleased when the Alien/Aliens naming convention is applied. Perfect encapsulation of all action sequels. "This time it's more."

I’ve been enjoying the season, but agree the dialogue has been average. I sense production really focused on the nighttime/arctic aesthetic. And maybe dialogue hasn’t been emphasized like say, season one.
All in all I do like how they have suspended a clear answer to the question of if the crimes were supernatural, or human in origin.
I was expecting more from Jodie Foster. She’s a great actress, but not really great in this role.

I think Foster has been great when she's been given the chance.
Problem is there isn't a lot of room for her to be awesome when the star of the series is ice... And her co-stars are as dynamic as Wilson the Volleyball.

I had that same exact thought. And Jerry S actually hinted at as much, during a post show Q + A a few months back.
