you just saw Brunson finish the game in a **** blowout my ****... u can't be defending him rn

yeah i agree brunson probably could’ve been pulled around the 5 minute mark but are we really gonna sit here and blame thibs for each and every injury? cmon now

Our starting SF in Julius, Wing in OG, Center in Mitch and other starting Center IHart are all out with injuries, most definitely in part due to over playing. OG already had a bone spur for sure, but the way Thibs overuses players just increases the chance of them having to leave sooner. Julius tired at the end of games does more stupid shizz and comes down wrong. IHart getting overplayed and we all know he can’t handle the minutes he is forced to play. RJ in Toronto started his career off thrir by missing games. Not every injury is due to Thibs, but come on, how many more players do we need to lose?

In this game Deuce got 11 minutes and Brunson 37, Hali with 30. Brunson leaves with 1 minute left in game.

Do you want the whole starting lineup out with injuries in order to get it?

we need to lose almost everyone...

everyone!!!!!!!!

2 games before the break, and this loss has dudes writing lengthy letters from the trenches. My goodness.

oh and this fake comeback really sucks. game was lost with about 10 minutes left, but of course because of a mini-comeback Thibs is leaving guys out there until the final buzzer.. we have enough guys already. jesus.

I absolutely thought this as well while watching the game.
When teams clog the paint against us in the playoffs and we are having a center plus Randle outthere, you can't really survive with Hart passing up wide open threes.

Although I will say, all this hand wringing over MJ Burks when Josh Hart has been one of the most destructive players in basketball is perplexing. If anything i’m hoping he takes more of Hart’s minutes

So many hate Randle but this team needs him. And the fact that we played without a C. And the fact that Bogs doesn't know the offense. Indy has yet to play us @ full strength. Divi's legs seemed shot tonight. It's all good. I'm happy that we only have 2 more games before these guys can take a break and we'll be that much closer to having our starting front court back. And also Mitch (who should be the backup to Hart). To panic over this game is kinda silly imo

Our issue right now is that all our most important defenders are out. We're not going to win games without our rim protectors or OG. Thibs's defensive scheme - which has proven to yield great results - relies on them being fit to play.

Burks and Bogdanovic definitely compound the issue with these players out. They just can't defend anymore. But they were not brought in to be relied upon to contribute as they are now.

Bogdanovic will likely play 15-20 minutes a game when OG and Randle come back. Burks will likely play 10-15 minutes a game by the time the playoffs start, if he plays at all.

That will be the moment to judge the trade, not right now. And I've been more skeptical about it than most (though not as critical as KG).

I'll tl;dr it for your twitter brain...

Rose kinda effed up because no bigs knowing all the injuries now Knicks will suck until they get them back but probably will screw playoff seeding in the meantime best hope is to miss Boston until ECF so if no 3rd seed then 6th seed.

There...does that help you?

I also think so-called experts and some fans place too much emphasis on seeding. If you're good, you're good. As long as we don't have to do the play-in, I'm honestly good with whatever. Home court is nice but it didn't change the outcome of last year. Wasn't Cle the host and weren't we the host against Miami? Plus, I recall this 8th seed going to the Finals. HEALTH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SEEDING

We need the entire team to be healthy and ready to go come playoff time. But I don’t trust Thibs. By the time Randle, OG, Mitch, Hartenstein come back, the other guys will be burned out lol.

So when the Knicks have lost 5 of 6 and are on a 4 game losing streak heading into the all star break it will be interesting to see who's still fronting the 'I aint even mad' meme.

I suggested a slide before the Utah game because the writing was on the wall, it was obvious to see, injuries were building up and the wheels were already starting to come loose.

The Knicks have been fighting hard and giving incredible performances to stave off the inevitable considering being so shorthanded but stating the obvious shouldn't be anathema, it's being realistic.

All Knicks fans hope the team gets healthy and the chemistry back strong by the playoffs so match ups aren't as important, I would think that's the default mindset, but who knows if it will happen.
