Unfortunately Spo doesn't think there's a such thing as positions so you'll constantly see Bam, Herro, Jimmy, JJJ, Martin, Richardson, etc bring it up at seemingly random besides just Rozier. I'm ok with Jimmy, JJJ, and sometimes Herro but damn let a PG be a PG...

Rozier comes from an isolation scheme with the Hornets, where Ball ran wild and every player were creating on the fly. Here he has to play within a system and it seems he still digesting it.

So he is 12-21 vs the heat this season but only 2-4 against Bam and has history of trouble scoring against Bam, why are we not using him to defend KP? That means whoever is guarding KP majority of the time is damn near a foot shorter than him

I guess we prioritize Bam on stopping JB and Tatum but then that leaves us with no answer for KP. We should’ve traded for another 3 and D guy to play to 4. From a basketball perspective both DFS and Royce would’ve been perfect

We live in a world of advanced analytics why would Boston want Porzingus guarded by Bam. Makes no sense it only makes sense for Miami. So both Boston and Porzingus will take advantage of every switch onto a small defender and pass out from a Bam iso defensive matchup. The amount of shot vs Bam tells you thats the plan. Nothing Miami can do outside of having like multiple Bams on the court.

Our defense starts and ends at the point of attack and midpost recovery. Its the whole premise behind having switchable defenders. The moment the other gets to withing 5ft of the basket our defense is none existant due to our small size.
