That was a very satisfying win.

And Rozier was horrible, him getting hurt is why the Heat made it a game.

If it's not a satisfying W, it's definitely a satisfying sweep!

Celts beat Miami in a not so close game in their 1st meeting.

The 2nd meeting was blowout in Miami with the Cs winning by 33 points.

And the now the Cs prevail in a close game in Miami.

This is where Tillman will really help the Cs.

X-Till can guard Bam and will be able to defend all the other Heat players in a switch.

Joe can go double big with Al and X when the starters will start resting.

Celtics were great in taking care of the ball, only 9 turnovers.

The problem is JB had 6 of the 9 turnovers.

Ugh!

The kings of ugly wins.

These kind of performances won't fly in the playoffs tho against a good team.

Guess the Heat are better off if Jimmy doesn't play because the Heat will lose by fewer points.

Thought for sure this was an L when Jimmy was unavailable. Star out and afternoon game and in Miami, all the bad omens.

Winning ugly in the playoffs IS what flies in the playoffs. It's why Miami always seems to back their way into the playoffs then upsets team after team. I always appreciate games like this even if I was getting indigestion thinking we might lose to the Heat again. They do more for preparing a team for the fight and grind of the playoffs than cruising to a pretty win where the shots all fall. I hate Miami because they are the grit and grind mofos that always show up and make it hard no matter who the hell is on their roster. Hate = grudgingly respect and want badly to beat.

Just before he hurt himself, Terry was on a heater.

And 7 made it a game a lot more than Rozier - when 7 decided to play for the Heat for awhile.

That Bam is the back-up C in place of KP is just politics. (I mean, throwing a bone to Miami and their fans politics.)

At the end of the day for All-NBA, assuming they get to the end of the regular season healthy - which, I agree is an assumption, weǘe just seen Embiid fall by the wayside - then it has to be Jokic, AD and KP for the 3 center spots - presumably Joker #1 and then kind of a toss up between AD and KP for second team All-NBA.

KP is on pace to play in 59 games this season, and I think the franchise might try to get him to 65, but hopefully not really.
If they win a title and he keeps playing like he has been (or reasonably close to it) I think his reputation will take the leap to 'of course' All Star guy. Which Bam, to me at least, is. And without Jimmy there, sure he's a fine pick this season.

Yes, You're probably right that he's on pace to miss a few too many. I just think he's so clearly a superior player to Bam. (Who while dirty af is certainly a very good center himself.)

Yeah. 27/30 isn't realistic.

Maybe that bar is set too high at 65/83. Perhaps 75% or 60 games would be more reasonable. Idk. I feel like ( - and yes - whotf cares what I feel like let's look at the stats . :) ) KP's missed an average number of games with niggles, the Celts have been a little conservative/cautious, perhaps, but this doesn't seem like egregious Kawahii-iing (and I like KL as a player so not hating on him per se.)
