These kind of performances won't fly in the playoffs tho against a good team.
What, winning performances?
I'll take 16 ugly wins in the playoffs quite happily.

True.
Joel Embiid ended up crying after that game winning shot from Kawhi that kept bouncing on the rim as time expired.
That was one of the ugliest ways to lose a Game 7.
Ugly wins happens a lot in the playoffs.
That's why this win is a great win for the Cs.
I know it's sounding like a broken record, but last season the Cs would have lost this game.

Probably going to end up as the biggest Eastern All-Star snub. Have to imagine he's next up if someone twists an ankle or comes down with a cough.
That Bam is the back-up C in place of KP is just politics. (I mean, throwing a bone to Miami and their fans politics.)
At the end of the day for All-NBA, assuming they get to the end of the regular season healthy - which, I agree is an assumption, weǘe just seen Embiid fall by the wayside - then it has to be Jokic, AD and KP for the 3 center spots - presumably Joker #1 and then kind of a toss up between AD and KP for second team All-NBA.
KP is on pace to play in 59 games this season, and I think the franchise might try to get him to 65, but hopefully not really.
If they win a title and he keeps playing like he has been (or reasonably close to it) I think his reputation will take the leap to 'of course' All Star guy. Which Bam, to me at least, is. And without Jimmy there, sure he's a fine pick this season.

Only time will tell whether we perform well in the playoffs and we'll lose some games before then too.
But the amount of whinging that goes on around here after win and another win and another win for a 41-12 team is out of balance with the reality of the situation.
I get people are worried after the last two seasons, nothing is a given and I have worries too, but really this team is doing a lot of things right and are finding different ways to win that we wouldn't have last season.
Sometimes it's best to enjoy the ride, appreciate that they're a really good team and save worrying for when the playoffs actually arrive.

Maybe that's why we got Tillman?

Exactly!
One poster here, I forgot who, mentioned the Cs are a little soft.
Tillman is the solution for that softness.
X is perfect against this Heat team.
You can pair X with Al or KP in a double big lineup.
And besides guarding Bam, X can switch on anyone on the Heat without him being put at a disadvantage.

Oh I wasn't talking about guarding Bam.

Their talent level is not elite, but they will make you earn it.
Just like in last year's finals, the Nuggets had the superior team and there was nothing Miami could do about it because they were just facing a superior opponent.

Brown has a bad game mid February on a win. The board: in shambles.
Looks like a lot of posters here need a scapegoat in their own team to let go off a lot of personal frustrations.
VC to Tat and Porz btw
