No, they review buzzer beaters to see if the shot or foul happened before the buzzer.

They did not review the actual call because Thibs was out of reviews.

They reviewed what happened and didn't say it was a bad call. That no foul occured. There was no foul. I don't know why they wouldn't be able to overturn their own bad whistle.

So I was wrong; not even the right call

Honestly who cares about OT - would just have been more bad calls and Brunson minutes

The NBA should take their OT and shove it up their arse

Yeah but those are the stupid rules

Thibs gave up the challenge so they only review it for time remaining

Is it a rule though? Is it actually a rule that a ref can't overturn a bad whistle upon further review? I mean, they checked to see if no foul happened with .3 left on the clock?

It is what it is. They were hosing us all game. We are undermanned with a maniacal HC and two new guys. The oher deciding factor was 33.3% from 3 vs 38.5%. DDV was 5/14. Burks/Boj 2/10.

Should have been OT but, whatever. I'm just so worn out by the last 2.5 weeks!! Trying to remain positive is rough.

The refs need a 4th man... there's NO FCKING way why there is only 1 fcking ref on the baseline. Most of the fouls happen in the box right? If you have a ref on one side of the baseline, most likely your view will be fcking blocked by giants. Then you will be dependent on the side refs to make that call WHILE watching the perimeter.

Hard truth: this game goes to OT if Thibs doesn’t try to protect the honor of his boy Taj with a very questionable challenge. Better yet if he never plays Taj.

one of those guys is hardly or not gonna play at all when we're healthy

ihart
precious

burks

that's 10 without mcbride and he wants to play 9. and the way he plays precious so many minutes makes me doubt he'll be out of the rotation. i'll give burks a chance though to find his rhythm.

when healthy?...at this point with thibs there is a good chance we will never be healthy. Likely just DD for some time (if its a hammy) it will be weeks.

well then none of it matters anyway because we're going nowhere

if we had a coach that was somewhat reasonable with his minutes and late game garbage time

ihart wouldn't be hurt
randle woudln't be hurt
mitch woudln't be hurt

we dodged a bullet with brunson not being seriously hurt

Thibs might have killed Donte tonight

and he is soon to end Precious with the way he's recklessly playing him...these aren't playoff games! thibs is literally torpedoing. the season at this rate.

That call shouldn't have ended the game but, they gave it away in the first half. The shooting was terrible. The refs took us out early though too with the quick whistles on Sims and Precious. We were not getting the same calls on the other end. It was a joke. Still gotta hit your shots though.

Pretty good point

I’m starting to see Thibs as just the latest guy using the Knicks to indulge his his personal peculiarities and force them on a team

Another hijack situation

Like Phil and the Triangle

Live by nepotism, die by nepotism.

The process got us Son of Rick, so I’m not complaining. Despite the ridiculous hyperbole, tonight’s game was about as meaningless as they come. We’re still well positioned for a top 4 seed and hopefully a healthy and well rested roster come Playoffs, which is all that really matters.

It does feel like the tail wags the dog at MSG. Taking out Deuce for Burks. That’s the last straw

And I honestly think this is going downhill
