Re: 2024 NBA Draft Thread
Horrible idea. I stopped watching the NFL draft when they moved it off of Saturdays and I loved watching the draft. The NBA draft hasn’t been watchable for years, way more fun to scan twitter than watching mothers cry on tv. Two days I would completely lose interest

If we drafted Bronny, I'd tell LeBron he has to join us as a vet min with a team option for vet min in year two. Vindictive? Perhaps, but oh man that would be great.
This is the move. And would be hilarious if Lakers fans had to watch LeBron teamed up with Dame and Giannis but in Milwaukee.

Watched some clips of the top draft prospects. So, this draft is epically terrible, eh?

I think it's probably a pretty good draft to have a couple picks in the late-1st/early-2nd round (we'll have at least one). That's usually the case when a draft isn't super top heavy and everyone is gambling early on youth and upside. Intriguing mix of tools-y and college production guys in that range:
Kobe Johnson
Tristan Da Silva
Riley Kugel
Baba Miller
Kevin McCullar
Adem Bona
Trevon Brazile

now that we have playmaking, shot making, and MVP caliber leading man figured out, you would think it wouldn't be impossible to find 3 and D wings if we just keep drafting them.

wonder if we could combine 'em and move up to the teens
even if he's clearly not an NBA-player, Bronny (projected to go around 20th) would be worth the chance Bron spends his last year or two or three making sure we are prohibitive title favorites and chasing Jordan's 6th ring as our 6th man lol
Bucks need to keep both picks and take best player available for both picks
Agree. Horst isn't the guy I want drafting in those spots, though. We'll see with Andre Jackson, Jr and I do like Dairy Bird's potential. Other than that I think the only guy he drafted that will stick in the league as a real contributor is Donte. Might be forgetting someone, though. I'm sure someone here will let me know

Under the radar 2nd-round steal candidate. Reminds me of a less-douchy version of a certain other "Dillon". Him and Dame can hang out and reminisce about all the hot Weber State co-eds they banged (I don't know where Weber State is, don't shame/cancel me).

Seen a bunch of mocks having him go to us at #35, but I'm fine taking him in the 1st. Athletic, tools-y, switchable forward. Jarred Vanderbilt with some actual upside on offense sounds good to me.

Yeah, I've been watching him, too. He reminds me a lot of Georgetown Jeff Green. Kind of expect him to stay at Oregon but definitely someone to watch should he come out sooner than optimal for his draft position.

Dude's gonna be a huge riser if he keeps putting out tape like this. Only 18 years old and already seeing him in 1st round mocks. Cameroonian Giannis?

Damn, not too many 18 year olds have NBA body’s already, particularly bigs, but that dude’s got it. He’s got a really solid frame, and will be able to add a good deal of weight if needed.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft Thread
I really hope they keep both picks but I have an idea for Horst.
I would hire an independent firm to help with the draft. Basically do all the normal draft prep work you normally would. Go to the firm and lay it all out and explain to them that their job is to Costanza our picks.
I.e. Here’s who we want to pick. We want you to pick the exact opposite.

New Athletic mock out.

Meh on Klintman. Hasn't improved as much as you'd like in the NBL, but I guess if he did, he wouldn't be available here. Pretty much an upside play but they have Chomche going two picks later and I'd much prefer him or Tyler Smith.
Love this one. 6'7 play-making wing who puts a ton of pressure on the rim (6.2 FT attempts per game). Much improved distance shooter. Smart team defender. Replace Klintman with Chomche and this would be a near perfect draft for us.

24. Milwaukee Bucks
Bobi Klintman | 6-9 wing/forward | 20 years old | Cairns Taipans
It’s been a season of ups and downs for Klintman in the NBL playing for Cairns as a Next Star. He has put up some big games, especially in the first half of the season when Cairns was rolling a bit and looked like a potential finals contender. However, Klintman has dealt with a few minor injuries over the back half of the season and missed time sporadically. On top of that, Cairns has struggled and fallen out of the contention picture. Klintman is still a 6-foot-9 wing/forward who can knock down shots from the perimeter, having hit 35.4 percent from 3 this season and 80 percent from the line. He can dribble a bit and make passes out in transition. He’s still learning what exactly he’s capable of as he continues growing into his frame, and his feel for the game is still developing, as he came to basketball late. Most teams see Klintman as likely to hear his name called in the post-lottery range of the first round, even if he’s a bit polarizing for evaluators league-wide due to his mix of age and the raw nature of his game. The conversations surrounding him are not dissimilar to those that occurred five years ago when Rui Hachimura was in the draft.

35. Milwaukee Bucks (via POR): Kevin McCullar | 6-7 wing | Kansas

Bronny sucks, but I guess I’d roll the dice on him having dad’s work ethic and becoming good.
