It was a 15 point game when Paolo checked back in with 10:03 to go and the Magic never got it closer than 9.

This whole 4th quarter has been extended garbage time.

My favorite part of this game is Stan Van Gundy constantly pointing out how the Magic do not have shooting. As an architect of the last Magic team built on shooting, it must be astounding to watch this team over a decade later suck at the thing that his team led the league transformation on.

Our roster construction was more modern 15 years ago.

This is part of what's so irritating about our team/front office.

We were at our most successful with modern spacing before it was modern.

But in the post-Dwight years, it's been completely nonexistent, even with it becoming the norm the past 10+ years, mindboggling

I don't know how many timeouts that OKC has, but they really know how to use it.

You always say this when other teams are blowing us out - we're the same way lol. Team cuts a 20 point lead to 15 and coaches call a timeout. Much harder to use one when you're down 14 and they go to 18 or something.

Yes! Because every time we have a hope of coming back, and get like 5 points or something, the other team calls a timeout. I've noticed that a lot in the Miami, Cavs, and Celtics games.

the difference is a REAL superstar in SGA...not just a "rising star".

Suggs came out firing but he's just not that guy...SGA does it every night (no knock on Suggs). Suggs scoring 20 on a given night is like SGA scoring 40. They're a step ahead of us, but we're in good shape.

Took SVG about ten seconds to point out the obvious, glaring, gaping hole in our offense...terrible 3pt shooting, collapsing on Paolo, just the most obvious thing in the world. I don't know who we'll meet in the playoffs or play-in, but it will be uglier than tonight when a good team is locked in and completely prepared for a series vs ORL.

*now just picture Simons (or someone of his caliber) next to Suggs, launching 3's every time Paolo and/or Franz get doubled. now picture an ORL Magic guard taking a 3 and you expecting it to go in every time Why the f*** did this not get addressed?

We didn't lost this game because of SGA. We lost this game because of the same story has Miami game. They absolutely packed the paint and loaded up on Paolo.

And we missed 20 relatively open 3's, that they give us instead of letting us drive. They wanted us to take that shot, they have seen everyone beat us with the zone, it was the easy move.
