This refusal to give the opponent credit when the Magic lose that some of y'all often do is quite perplexing.

Not to many non superstars that are double and triple teamed either.

No it was not, OKC is a small team who can'r rebound and we are a big team scoring inside, if we only could play to out advantages and guard somebody...

Wtf, Oklahoma has the 6th best offense and 5th best defense. This team is one of the best teams in the NBA while the Magic are a middle of the road team right now.

Exactly. We all saw the triple team on PB and when he passed out our 3pt shooter just bricked it. That is the cause why we aren't a championship contender status yet.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't see this as "not cutting corners" or "not skipping steps" or some admirable ideal of patience... It's nothing but absurd roster construction despite holding a handful of chips...spare me the "family" crap too. Build a functional backcourt. Ridiculous.

Just because Paolo is on a rookie deal and under "Team Control" doesn't mean the FO should s**t on his All-Star early career.
I keep saying that we may not have as much time as people think.... We got to build it right but that doesn't mean it has to be super slow.... We found our stars to build around it's cool to step on the gas a little bit

I get the FO wanting to build a 'culture', but that can't take precedent over winning.

Waiting on development isn't the solution either, it's time to be proactive

This one started off well but went downhill.

It's depressing sometimes how much this team collapses at times.

On to tomorrow night and I guess there is a Jersey Retirement that is about to happen.

Me personally, I still see Isaac get robbed of 1-2 blocks per game. I don't know if I am being too liberal between deflection blocks and the obvious, classic blocks, or if the official league scorekeepers are just liberals who hate a conservative JI. Luckily, when it comes to the real, actual NBA teams and their pro scouts, they see it and know the truth.

It seems like we never have an offensive rhythm with 2 days off.

True, but OKC will get destroyed in a playoffs with slower pace and lesser rotations. Teams like Denver or LAL or Twolves will just kill them inside and on rebounds

Weird stats:

We had 17 more rebounds, 2 more assists, only two less threes, and only two less free throws made.

Lots of turnovers though.

Definitely the #1 priority...just like it was last year trade deadline, last summer, the draft, last week...

But PBs statline and trip team can give you ammo for the arguements in the GB right?

Just joking.

We got crushed at home by a team that was favored by 2.5 points. Every point above that 2.5 can be attributed back to us coming up short of expectations.

Idk why I come to this board. The incessant whining is just getting way out of hand I understand venting and frustration but this is something else. We just lost to a top 4 team in the league. We are not on that level yet. This is the best magic season in 10 years and I am going to enjoy it. Peace out
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

How to play ORL summed up in one sentence. Not some mastermind complex defense - easy.

The blueprint to beat this team is well known.... Just pack the paint and dare us to shoot, even if he hit a few rarely do we keep hitting them... Then the bench comes in and gives barely anything.... How can coach look at this happening consistently and NOT tweak something?

Jalen Williams really killed the game. Every time we about to make a run, Jalen Williams just step up. We just have no shot making. This game really exposed us. We just not as talented as OKC. Plain and simple
