KG, NAW got the last two shots because his teammates created for him. He hit 1 which was his 2nd on 3 attempts for the game. Then Mike ran it back because PGs always are on the lookout for someone who might be hot. After he hit the 2nd this quarter (4th for the game,) they decided to give him a 5th. Without the hot hand he doesn’t get that last shot, maybe not the shot before it either. That is how the hot hand is predictive.

NAW is hot. The hot hand seldom works as a predictor. You just pointed out one case where it did after I tracked 10 times in a row when it didn't. Any more discussion of this in the Hot Hand Thread.
