White with 27-5-4 in 28 minutes on just 16 shots. His second highest output in under 30 minutes of play. Scored 28 pts in 29 mins. in Sacramento last December.

That's an odd thing, isn't it? When he first got here he had a reputation of being able to hit the three, now he never takes it anymore.

His value as an offensive rebounder >>> hitting an occasional three at 34% (or whatever it is). Let him hang around the rim/baseline or set picks up top.

He was 35%+ from 3 his first 2 seasons.
If he sets a pick up top it's more impactful if opponents are afraid to leave him open for a shot.
If he plays double-big with Queta or Tilman it would be nice if he were a solid 3pt shooter.

I agree that as long as he's a superior offensive rebounder to Porzingis it's generally better to have Luke inside when those two play together, all the more because saving wear and tear on Porzingis is desirable, but the option for variety might have benefit even then.

Oshae is a good fit for this team, he was a good pickup. Has a specific role, something he brings to the table and brings that thing consistently when he's out there..
