Not that I care that much about them being happy, lol, but since we passed the deadline with PP as our 3rd string PG, I think it makes sense to keep him that way, unchallenged. I'm on board for someone like Cory Joseph or similar to just be there for emergency/mopup minutes the PG.
Or the super likely - nobody. Just let Springer do it in garbage time.

Trae Young couldn't spell win if you gave him the w, i, n. Just like Lame Lillard, put up good numbers on bad teams but have no idea what winning is about. A lot like a number of posters in this forum.

Brad seems to think Springer can play in the playoffs. I think he got him for more than just garbage time:
?s=20
Clearly, Brad and Joe have a lot of confidence in our top 8 guys. And clearly, Brad feels like both Tillman (a big) and Springer (a combo-guard) can be playoff contributors as well. So that's 10 potential playoff contributors.
I think if Brad adds a 15th guy, it'd probably be a wing. There were lots of rumors before the trade deadline that he was looking for a wing..but he got a big and a guard instead..while trading away 2 wings (Banton, Stevens)
Whoever it is, probably won't play much..so I'm tempering my expectations..and not really expecting a guy like Delon Wright, but you never know..

Other than his rookie season and this season, Trae Young has lifted his team more than ~90% of the NBA. It figures that a player who can break defenses down with the dribble and happens to be a top 3 passer is very conducive to winning. He's also made the playoffs 3 seasons in a row and reached as far as the CF at age 22. Haliburton (a player widely acknowledged as a winning player) in his age 22 season missed the playoffs. Let's see if he can make the ECF this season at age 23.
