Good to grind it out, but boy we make some dumb decisions for long stretches. No idea why OSU abandoned the zone and the press. Klesmit and most the offense went cold second half and it seemed like we were ready to blow it. Crowl can be almost too aggressive with elbows but I like seeing it. It’s easy when the opposing C doesn’t have as much weight as the guy from Nebraska. I’ll take it and we will need to build on it.

Something must have happened in the lockerroom. You dont fire your coach at this point in the season unless something did happen. The only thing i can think of is that they were so embarrassed how they just watched the clock go by for about a full minute without fouling at the end.

I dunno...this basically killed their chances to even make a late run at any sort of decent season. I do understand there isn't a ton of benefit in firing him early but also seems pretty run-of-the-mill.

It appears breathing near an Iowa player is going to be a foul today.

In case anyone was curious, the announcers were absolutely wrong that this would be a Q1 win. I was shocked when they said that so had to fact-check. It's Q2 (quite easily).

Carter Gilmore might be the only D1 player his size that could've turned that easy dunk/layup into a pump fake and trip to the ft line.

They are **** dying to blow the whistle anytime an Iowa player does anything around the hoop. Crowl didn't do anything.

Gilmore is the only player I've ever seen pump fake wide open layups

I had to leave the room for a moment after that last one.

Maybe that's where they're Q1.

Feels like they’ve barely missed since it was 35-22

I realize this is how it works against Iowa under Fran, but yeah, we are not winning this one if Iowa is going to shoot 90% on turnaround fadeaway long 2s. I will have to look but I bet Iowa had 15+ straight trips that ended in points.

I usually fancy myself as the patient understander of value brought by imperfect players…but I think I may be done with him. I can’t take it anymore.

They just took away two points retroactively when Crowl had an easy offensive rebound?!?!?
