Kerb Hohl wrote:To me the issue with late game sets is they delay and start them so late. Chucky is instructed not to take a risky pass to somebody with like 7 seconds on the shot clock because it’s not going to work giving it to somebody like Wahl there. Inevitably, Chucky is forced to go solo with 5 seconds left. He’s a better shooter…but he is shooting like 10% on the ones everybody hates.

But 7 seconds is an incredibly long post up even for a super deliberate player like Wahl. Better than a contested fade away off dribble 27 footer.

Or…just call the TO sooner.

That missed 2/1 opportunity was something.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

19-28 on FT and 2 points taken away on the dumbest rule I’ve ever heard.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

Whatever that goaltending overturn review call is, it needs to not be a thing ever again.

You can't change a call that caused a dead ball 2 minutes after the fact (While taking away two points from a team)
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

I also think the whole Chucky thing is an unfortunate axiom handed down by Bo Ryan.

They’ve always had the PG iso on the late game stuff. I’m a stan for Chucky because he *should* still be a pretty high percentage on those 3s because overall that’s what he’s pretty good at. But he’s not like previous PGs like Jackson or Hughes or Taylor that could get to the line or Koenig who could rise up over the defender and hit it consistently.

Probably should get it to Storr more often with 7 seconds left and let him work. If they don’t let him into the lane he will badly brick the shot, but he can get in there more often.

Carter Gilmore needs to transfer now. Save gard from himself. He’s such hot garbage I’m not sure why he ever plays

Yeah I would have fed him again, but we always get that stupid chucky iso.

The 4 in row by storr and then chucky on the tech were brutal.

Or the two missed by chuckles the clown after freeman's tech.

Seriously, Frietag can't come soon enough.

I'd be good if Chuckles, Crowl, and Gilmore just said bye after the season.

Im ok with a Klesmit, Essegian, Storr, Wahl, Winter lineup to start and finish games. Blackwell as 6th man.

If Gus Yalden doesnt transfer, plus Frietag and Robison. Not bad.

I do think Chucky takes his talents to Nebraska this offseason.

Does home/road matter though? I forget the breakdown but it’s a team in Q2 but them being at home bumps it up?

Yes, it does. Top 75 road games. Iowa is 122.

I’d be shocked if Essegian doesn’t transfer after the season.

Yeah, Essegian's gone. He won't see more time next year and he just needs a fresh start.

He went from having one of the purest shots I've seen to a streaky averageish shooter. I don't know what looks different exactly, but it's not the same stroke.

Yes! I just can't understand how that guy gets any playing time ! He just flat out sucks! He might be in the right position on defense , but he doesn't block shots , poke away a ball , anything that is a actually difference making play. And the on offense , it's essentially 4 on 5! I'm definitely a GG fan , but is starting to slip a bit , putting Gilmore in is a travesty!

Gilmore is Tim Jarmusz except Jarmusz had someone who defended him on here.

Jarmusz could at least hit a 3 every once in awhile

I just wonder where the progression of Gus Yalden is if they advised him to redshirt over taking Gilmore's minutes. Hopefully it was just a "get your **** together" year, and not indicative of his play.

I don’t think he’s that good right now. If anything, it should be Ilver.
