Lol Indy figuring out a way to game the system. Good for them. Definitely an advantage to go last and figure out the best strategy after watching everyone else.

The nba tries too hard. Keep it simple. But no…nba always needs to be flashier and flashier.

The first iteration sucks. Way too simple.

Simple is great sometimes. The shootout is consistently the best event and it's by far the most simple.

I think they had trouble getting guys in the first one. It was easy to look bad if you rushed and ended up missing 3-4 passes in a row. That turned into guys jogging and going slow to make sure they at least made the pass or just refusing to participate

It's astonishing how terrible this is

The guys at my local gym can complete this “skills” challenge.

I was wondering the same thing. That crowd "eruption" at the end of Indy's turn there sounded really, really fake.

NBA always tries to over complicate things... first put the 3 pt last the dunk contest hasn't been great in years it's always corny try too hard overhype

get rid of this corny skills competition and replace it with horse... that would be amazing to watch

I didn't think about it but you're right, they probably do. The Colts stadium is only half full, the rest is partitioned off with a huge curtain.

You can argue about which era was better in the nba. But something is undeniable. The all star weekend peaked in the 90s.

There is tons of people wearing Pacers' gear here so they're for sure the fan favorite but now that you all say it they probably are pumping in noise.

If their team has any stones they throw Ant out at the 5 and let him snipe left handed.
