These events just get worse and worse every year. I mean I didn't hate what I just saw, but the players just don't give a crap so it sucks to watch. Plus the old format is better for skills challenge.

I’m sure there are worse ways to spend a Saturday night.

I just can’t think of them.

If the players aren't going to try, at least it's fun to watch them suck. I would honestly rather watch them try and play different sports for this.

that competition was like those halftime shows they let like 30 kids just run around the court shooting the basketball.

They should just do telematch style games instead. Go full crazy.

Are you suggesting Curry's going to intentionally miss his shots? There are no judges in the 3 point contest.

Not necessarily, i see Sabrina coming in and playing to win, and the NBA telling steph to be laughing and not taking it seriously whatsoever and that way Sabrina wins but Steph can say if i would've tried it'd be different - thats a win/win for the league in this situation

I just got here and was thinking they changed the 3 point contest into a group thing.

Very tough to see things we haven't seen before now, along with guys not trying at all and the fact that the stars don't want to participate either.

I thoroughly enjoyed the rising stars games last night. I was introduced to the insanity that is Benedict Mathurin. Watched him irritate Jaden Ivey so much that Ivey and Scoot Henderson started picking him up full court. Saw him try to bet 25k and immediately miss both his free throws, then ice the game 20 seconds later.

Saw the G-leaguers pimp slap Wemby, Jaime Jasquez, and Brandon P and watched Jalen Williams call tournament. If you just love basketball it was super fun.

I expect the rest of this night to be better.
