Had a long day and slept through the game... kinda

I woke up groggy, checked the score and thought it was over when I saw 172 points scored. Turns out there was still a lot of game left and I just missed it

Eliminate the three-point line. From basketball.

Yeah, even when he scored 62 a couple weeks back, they lost the game and their coach called him out for ballhogging. So bad, he got benched late in the game.

it was so cringe. luka, jokic and AD couldn't care less about the game, SGA was quietly doing his thing and KAT was going all out to put up 50 in a blowout loss and then celebrated when he got it. dude's a 9 year vet acting like it's his first all star game.

A weird take. People want the players to try and when they do, they get called out for it.

in the past giannis would be playing at like 80% effort in the all star game when everyone else was at 40-50% effort.

Towns is a Dweeb who happens to be tall and talented at basketball. Every cell in our body tells us to attack him physically and emotionally. If we were in school we'd want to laugh at him and trip him whenever possible.. and his smile makes us want to punch him because he's socially awkward and doesn't get the hint that we don't want to be his friend.

All I can say about this game is that at least he was trying. The other players didn't' want to play hard so they threw him the ball. Cant complain about his scoring when others chose not to. I'm just mad that Ant didn't get any run when i know that he hawks for every camera after a dunk to get his followers up.

Whatever it is I don't like about him is definitely basketball related though. I don't care if he's a dweeb and I don't really know anything about him as a person.

Also he didn't really try in this game. He just went hard after points when the game was basically over.

3 fouls committed and 5 FTA's combined for both teams is pretty hilarious

KAT wasn't trying to win, he was trying to score a lot. he was actively cherry picking at the end and put up more shots than the next two west players combined...

and then he celebrated his "achievement" of scoring 50 against a defense that put up literally no resistance.

It was over for all star weekend once no name celebrities starting popping up everywhere every year and getting involved in the weekend.

Whole weekend is just an excuse for NBA players to get **** up with celebrities and pretend to play ball.

lol he took 22 shots in the paint which were effectively all lay-ups and dunks with nobody even trying to contest anything. At least the other guys jacking up 3 pointers still had to make them.

The NBA needs to stop holding all-star games in smaller markets. Yeah it sucks for the small market fans, but these players aren't happy spending their in season vacation at these boring cities.

They need to add a cycle of attractive markets voted by the players and just recycle the top 5 cities for the next 10 years. Then they can revote the next 5 cities after the 10 years are done.

211 points, a new record.

All other NBA head coaches must bow before Doc Rivers.

Yeah, they are.
And dunking displays.
And fancy dribbling demonstrations.
And pretty passing performances.

It's an Entertainment Exhibition,

Did it look to anyone else like Lebron may have hurt himself on that dunk? Would explain why he didn't play in the 2nd too.

Should be LA, Vegas, New York, and Miami on loop.

When’s the last time a player got a major injury at an all star game?

I don’t understand how thats the excuse for them not competing anymore.

Happy I was able to catch some actual competitive games back in the day.

Only thing that can save us is if Kobe starts haunting these guys dreams like Freddy Krueger and calls them all
Pussies lol
