True, but wasn’t he playing behind a solid starter in Tyus Jones, and a tank commander in Jordan Poole?

Even so with both those guys averaging 30mpg, that leaves 36mpg of which he got 14mpg. Just saying to not get your hopes up too high with these bold predictions. I just hope he pans out and contribute.
Saw a bit of Wizards games. He was out for a considerable amount of time. Bilal and Kispert took much of the ball handling duties for the second unit. Eventually, development became a priority for these two

I think Delon will be solid for Miami now that he's relatively healthy, and the franchise is in a win-now mode and they have a need for his skills. Fits the Miami-Butler culture as well

Wright is often underrated due to his traditional stats not jumping off the page. This season is limited by a sprained knee, where urgency for his return was low, and his court time was subsequently limited—especially in a Wizards lineup focused on developing young talent over winning games—his impact should not be judged based on this season's stats alone.

Wright has consistently ranked in the top 5 in advanced metrics on his teams, especially when he was getting more playing time.
His defensive skills are elite and he rarely makes mistakes. Offensively, he's not a scorer but is a solid playmaker, ball handler and although he prefers to operate close to the basket, he is a competent 3-point shooter.

I have him making the playoff rotation with 20-30 mins playing time and possibly closing games, if he stays injury free.

It was a tongue in cheek joke from Bam, but that tells you exactly why you don't see him taking any 3pt's during games.

Probably because Bam is shooting 33% from midrange this season...

Completely disagree. Bam is one of two players on the team that could shoot the ball as soon as they step into the parking lot without having to worry about feeling Spo’s wrath. He doesn’t take them in real games because he doesn’t feel comfortable doing it.

So your saying he is a liar and using Spo as a crutch to protect his ego, because he doesn't have confidence in himself.

Bam needing to get permission to do anything is why he is a beta and will never be a #1 option.

Not even a #2 if we are being honest.

It’s very clearly Spo or he wouldn’t have given that response lol. Spo has a system, he has players in roles doing exactly what he wants them to be doing and Spo doesn’t want Bam shooting 3s. Spos system works and we win when it matters, it is what it is but it’s just been funny seeing Bam get the blame on this (as well as everything else) when he’s sound countless times he wants to shoot 3s.

Off the dribble, side step, slightly contested by a 7 footer, slight fade pull up 3. That **** looked pure and fluid, I think that’s what’s ruffled Beenies feathers the most is just how natural it looked.

S/O to Bam for being a team player and playing within Spos system instead of butting heads and not listening to his coach to do what he wants to do selfishly. True leader right there, not a pwussy beta

We are over a decade from the last time we won when it mattered, a championship. For perspective you could have had a new Heat fan in 6th grade

- graduate from middle
- graduate from high school,
- be in college finishing a degree
- or get a trade degree, join the military etc
- and start a family of his/her own

All of this in the span of a decade.
Thats how long it's been since we have won a ring.
So saying we win when it matters doesn't sound right does it?

We’ve made deep playoff runs off the greatness of Jimmy Spo and Bam in that order very consistently. I can say with full confidence those 3 are doing everything they can to win a championship, you can’t say that for the front office.

By this logic Herro and Duncan don’t need to be shooting 3s.

I’d say an open above the break 3 with his feet set off a catch and shoot (with shooting the ball first in mind) could be a more efficient shot than a heavily contested by potentially 2 players mid range shot. Especially when several players have come out and said their gameplan is to do whatever they can to slow down Bam and cut off touches by swarming him

Im curious to see your ‘list of accomplishments” for fans of Celtics, Sixers, Knicks, Clippers, Wolves and Suns and the last time they won a championship. For perspective of course.

The Lakers won and Bucks won, Warriors won, Raptors won, the Cavs won. Thats reality.

You always miss the shots you dont take. With our team it just feels and looks like we never went all in, we never really tried and it shows. The Lakers, the Bucks, the Raps, the Warriors etc are all teams that are not scared to pay. They value winning. Its the put your money where your mouth is. Reality.

The Celtics have lost just like us. The Clip if healthy have a shot. The Wolves are in the crawl/walk stage of contending not running. Suns who knows lol, they could be the Nets 2.0. Sixers are a team like the Clips if everyone is healthy. The Knicks are finally good and also in the walk crawl stage.

Return to Miami Heat
