1st time I actually liked watching KAT play. He was giving effort.

I don’t have much expectations for the all-star game.

Paolo stopped himself from defending layups a couple of times. He wanted to.

It was funny watching Luka try the self pass off the backboard self assisted slam.

The all-star game is a pageant for basketball fans and frankly is no longer the all-star game it once was.

I haven't decided if I am ok with it. If my guy who plays doesn't get injured, then I am not sure if I should care other then having fun.

It's a funny one. Like, the best version of the ASG would be amazing and I'd tune in every year, if all the players were committed to winning the game for the full 48 minutes.

But I just can't see how you get the players to give effort in a meaningless game - why would they? Especially if they increase their risk of injury in a league where your availability can make millions of dollars worth of difference in contracts. Plus, they're all friends now anyway and there's no animosity or pride involved.

I swerve it for the most part, I'll watch the 3 point and dunk contests as they are vaguely entertaining but the ASG itself is largely disappointing, especially because the best version of it would be so so good.

At least he didn’t have Edwards attitude not taking anything serious at all.

Said he was gonna shoot the whole game left handed.

lol I think he is legit trying to make the best play. Paolo ultimate form was always going to be more of a playmaker for others with his scoring. Remember when we drafted him Weltman kept pointing to his percentile in creation for others as a big reason they went with him. It’s all star game doesn’t matter end of the day.

I just mean he's jogging up and down the court.

Of course he is jogging up and down the court everyone is. No one is giving a **** about this game. They scored 211 points lol
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I only watched the first dunk, but it looked like they were trying a way to give it to Brown. He must've been really bad not to win.

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

I enjoyed watching it, i went into it knowing it's not real game. I liked that most of the players had fun and tried plays you won't see in a real game like the Luka dunk, Dame's 2 half court shots and Kat going off for 50 pts. And yes i think the NBA wanted Brown to win since he's a "star" so maybe entice other all stars to try out.

If players treating it as a break, what's the point of having a game?
Other than wikipedia star next to their name, allstar games mean nothing, therfore , simply cut them out. Having them host charity event during "allstar game" instad of playing would be more entertaining. Given how some of them carry themselfs, they would probably refuse to talk with fans.
