Yeah lets depend more on a guy who shoots 35 from 3 and 42 from 2 than a guy who shoots 60 from 2. Bold strategy.

Pretty sure he was saying that playing off of Dame more he won't have to go against triple teams as much

1. Know your defensive rotations and execute them while staying in a defensive stance so you can challenge shots
2. Stay out of the back court and out of the middle of the floor and get open from 3
3. Make a good % of open 3s or draw and kick to the next guy if your shot is off
4. If you can't handle that then stay on the bench injured or just go home

Here's what it looks like when your role players 3 - 12 spread the floor and know/run their defensive assignments/ offensive plays

What if we just start thinking of high pick and rolls with Dame as a very reliable way to get Giannis the ball at or just below the nail?

Leveraging Dame and Giannis' perimeter and interior gravity respectively is the most important thing to figure out these next 2-months. People have gone back and forth on shifting blame between the two, but this **** takes, you know, time to figure out. Said it earlier in the year but just look at Lebron and Wade's first year in Miami together even under certified genius coach Spo. Funny enough, they had the exact same record as us through the first half of the season (30-13) and it wasn't until around January/February where Lebron started to get comfortable and putting up normal Lebron production.

Giannis with a live dribble 15ft and in is still the scariest sight in basketball. If we can get it to him more often at those spots, he won’t be forced to drift out to receive the ball as often.

If we want playoff resilient ball, this would be a great course.

Yup, a Plumlee was able to have a great year being given this kind of space. Imagine what Giannis should be able to do. Him with the ball there in a 4 on 3 is a better spot to be than going 1 on 3.

He can also pop, and if they don't cover him, Dame can lead him downhill with the pass. That could be a tricky read but shouldn't take too long for a NBA guard to figure out.

He's not wrong, but kind of a weird thing to say during a NBA promo weekend. IDK guy just had some fun for the first time in ages and you are shifting focus saying what he is doing wrong.

Shaq has noted many times b4 that he sees himself in Giannis in the way he can dominate from inside - Giannis - IS his guy - He probably sees a lot of himself and Kobe or himself and Wade in Giannis's current situation and he wants to see them turn it around.

Fortunately it isn't that bad with Dame...he's shooting 42% overall but 50.1% from two. On the one hand that is well off last year (57%) and the worst figure of any Bucks rotation guy, but it's also in line with his career numbers (49.4%).

Yeah and like 57% at the hoop -- then the fouls he draws there...

Getting to the line a lot and hitting 92% of your FTs does have value.

Gallo's always been a sneaky underrated passer. Part of the reason why I think he's such a great fit here.

That's a lot more than 65%
