Just don't tell Scalabrine. He thinks Hayes is the worst

I wouldn’t mind Furkan Korkmaz (who wasn’t really playing already ) if he got bought out.

What's RGM's batting average for trade/buyout acquisitions during POBO Brad's era? I seem to recall quite a few names that generated over a handful of pages of expectant discussion, only for Brad to pull something completely out of left field, with our early bets then eventually fading out to obscurity.

Sort of …even a broken clock is correct twice a day… type of thing.

I’m going to be straight up and say I’ve killed the last two off seasons as much as one realistically can, but have had absolutely zero success in predicting buy out guys.

What did you predict? Can you also predict when or if I’m going to hit the lotto?

Hit the Brogdon trade within the tinniest speck two summers ago, was the first anywhere calling for adding KP this past summer.

On a smaller level, I thought all the hand wringing about costs and aprons was overblown, and team has consistently overspent what a lot of the most informed people have speculated they would by a moderate amount (which allowed those additions). Also general trend towards needing more offense in the front court going all the way back to the finals appearance, followed up by the additions of Gallo and then subsequently KP.

Not a gambler though, funny thing is I took several years off completely from spectator sports all together (roughly 2018-2021), and the prevalence of gambling/gambling ads compared to prior to that time is pretty jarring.

From ESPN Bobby Marks:

Possible buyout (waiver) and free agent candidates

Patty Mills | Atlanta Hawks
Shake Milton | Detroit Pistons
Mike Muscala | Detroit Pistons
Troy Brown Jr. | Detroit Pistons
Cedi Osman | San Antonio Spurs
Marcus Morris Sr. | San Antonio Spurs
Gary Trent Jr. | Toronto Raptors
Otto Porter Jr. | Utah Jazz
Ryan Arcidiacono | Free Agent
James Bouknight | Free Agent
Cory Joseph | Free Agent
Kevin Knox II | Free Agent
Furkan Korkmaz | Free Agent
Robin Lopez | Free Agent
Chimezie Metu | Free Agent
Frank Ntilikina | Free Agent
Ish Smith | Free Agent
Harry Giles III | Free Agent
Danuel House Jr. | Free Agent
Joe Harris | Free Agent
Killian Hayes | Free Agent
Juan Toscano-Anderson | Free Agent

Muscala or Osman would be the only ones that I would be interest in for the Celtics. I doubt either one will be bought out. Gary Trent Jr would go somewhere he could get minutes.

OPJ or just give me more Walsh.

Really though given our deadline moves I don’t think we need a 15th guy. I count 12 dudes on the roster that are proven NBA players that I wouldn’t be afraid to play on the playoffs. SVI and Walsh are the other two.

Oh snap. Forgot Bazley was a FA. He could have been a solid 15th man pickup for us. Oh well..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Conley gonna turn 37 in new season. Jrue gonna turn 34. So by my Math, Holiday should be agreeing to a 3-year $18M extension with the Cs.
