Get him, Brad

We could use another wing.

House is probably the best wing available..might be best player available. He's a vet.

And the last time we won a title, we had a guy named House coming off the bench then too..

They are technically contending, for a Play-in spot

To be fair they made a conference finals far more recently than the Sixers.

I think they meant contenders for House's services.

I hear he is the bastard love child of Danny Ainge and Eddie House.

And probably the best wing available, yeah.

I didn't know Bazlet was out there. He would have been a nice get. We'll have nightmares of he and Oubre going ham on the C's.

I guess I can scrap Jokic to Boston from my grand plans.

So guys like Osman, Otto Porter Jr and PJ Tucker have like 10 more days to get waived..

I'm thinking Osman to Boston like it already happened. There is a hidden tablet of stone somewhere, where the prophecy is written.

10 days is just some suspense to keep things interesting and this thread moving toward the next one.

... then again, I was all about Kenneth ******** Faried this past summer!

I mean that's all teams dream scenario is landing Giannis. However, he's under long-term contract and the Bucks are not even close to even thinking about trading him.

My sources are telling me Danuel House is not a good player. I’d rather have an open roster spot.

Brad Stevens will do something with the open spot. Probably won't be anything that has been mentioned in this thread.

It may be something as minor as taking a flyer on some g league guy for the rest of this season (with a non guaranteed year next year) if he thinks anyone is interesting enough.

We're pretty stacked as is.

Well, he couldn't keep his dick in his pants in the bubble. That's not a great recommendation.

Maybe. I just don't know who that would be. Not a lot of blue chip talent in the G league - most of the good players in there are already under standard or 2-way contracts with other teams - especially with teams having 3 2-way spots this season, that makes it so less talented players are available..

Maybe our staff will find a hidden gem, though. Champagnie last year was kind of a no-brainer. Wasn't under a standard or 2-way contract with anyone but was tearing up the G league, getting 19 PPG on decent efficiency with decent D and decent athleticism and was still only 21 yrs old so made a lot of sense as a flier.

I'll try to do some digging but think it's slim pickings. Alondes williams was looking good but he just got signed to a 2-way by Miami.

Also, part of the reason why we scooped a guy out of the G league last year and gave him a standard roster spot mid-season was because our 2-way guys weren't good enough to give them the spot. Plus, we needed another wing on the team and our 2 way guys were a big (Kabengele) and a PG (JD).

But now, we've got a wing on a 2-way (Peterson) who is probably better than any wing who's in the G but is not under team control with any other team..plus our other 2-way guys..Queta is probably better than any big in the G who's not under another team's control..same thing with JD and guards.

So I feel like if we're just gonna scoop a guy out of the G, we mine as well just convert 1 of our existing 2-way guys..

Yeah, I don't know either, whether there'd be anyone interesting available. I'm honestly fine if they do nothing. I like our guys, and I like our trade deadline additions, too.

Unfortunately the options to sign the guy and aggregate him into a trade later is less possible than years prior. Not saying they won’t bring in a younger guy but one benefit is off the list.

I’d guess an Otto Porter type who just ends up being a towel waver but who knows really.
