In some ways Trae fits what we need, but we need to do a deep dive on his leadership and attitude. Also, would Atlanta really trade him to a division rival? Getting Trae could make us a contender or could mess up our chemistry.

lol where does JJJ fit in any lineup?

Are we tying 75% of our cap in forwards/bigs?

He is a bigger better everything WCJ. Too bad we dont NEED that position as much as a proper guard.

Division rivals are not a thing.

Trae was the one I really wanted badly in the 2018 draft but kid may have ego issues.

I’d argue that we do need an upgrade at our center position. Not just the guard sports. Our guard needs are glaring but watching this team over the last 2 months, we need an elite rebounder badly. We’ve got no double digit rebounders, and we’ve almost always had that since Shaq first arrived. We lose so many offensive rebounds it’s frustrating to watch. A guy to add along with what we have would bump us up a notch.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

Trae pulling up and shooting 3's just inside the logo would get very trying for Paolo and Franz and rest of the team. I don't think that's what we're looking for.

Allen is a great choice.... he's a pitbull and will give 110%. Him and suggs would make it hard for people to take it easy. Not quite the defender.... but... definitely a competitor. If we get him at a good price.... moving him to the bench if Black levels up is a good option.

Allen and claxton summer would be awesome summer. Claxton upgrades the goga roll.... and you keep wendell and mo.

Allen
Suggs
Franz
Paolo
Claxton

would be a talented team as they all grow.

Anytime Allen and Mo Wagner are on the court together…we’d have so many fights. Haha

I believe his wife Morgan Reid played for the Orlando Pride soccer team. Tyus Jones might have been the best man at his wedding. Grayson and Tyus next year? They won a championship at Duke and played together in Memphis.

If we could essentially replace Fultz and Harris with Jones and Allen, we become a better basketball team. The goal for me this offseason is to add talent on our timeline but don't handicap our future either. Allen and Jones would probably fit that.

Unless it is Joe Ingles, who is both washed and can ball. What a guy.

(Man on a side note, never thought in 2024 I would be rooting for Jingles!! Life is crazy)
