He moves his feet well on offense so there is hope there.

Forget his offensive highlights I need to see some D.

Our players, especially the guards, not being able to slow anyone with the ball moving downhill is absolutely destroying us.

Maybe the first step in getting All Stars to play D is to have more people create defensive highlight reels.

Unless he has improved since college, he was a terrible on-ball defender.

It's still useful to bring these guys in to get a look at them in person and see how they fare in practice and how they are as teammates. It's basically like an extended pre-draft workout for younger players.

He looks like he has quicker feet than JFL. I wonder if JFL will get a call up? Maybe just good to play full games with the 905 still?

This signing is the right idea. One of our open roster spots should be used on a UFA PG prospect from the gleague.

My list of best available guys at the moment included:

Kendric Davis
Sharife Cooper
Mac McClung
D.J. Carton
Jamaree Bouyea

Hopefully we'll give Carton some playing time and see how he looks in the NBA. It's definitely worth a shot this season to give some tryout minutes to guys.

Sometimes it is impossible to know when people are serious on here
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Wonder when we'll find our Embiid considering there's one hundred walking around in Africa.

Why hasnt McClung got a chance?

It looks like he shoots the 3 at a nice rate and nice %'s, is obviously athletic AF, and is scoring 24ppg in the G-League. He has no role in the league as a 3+D PG next to guys like Doncic, LBJ, Barnes, etc.?

The speed and passing at least tell me that Toronto wants to inject some more pace.

Has JFL played with the big club yet? If not why not?

He was always a diamond the 1st game he played in college. He looked like Hakeem out there.

Masai was definitely exaggerating but the point was these guys don't get the opportunity to play basketball at all at a young age. You're taking it too literally but I guess that's expected with some.
