What’s wrong with Geno’s?

It’s somewhere that tourists go to but locals don’t think too highly of it. There’s probably 10 places that people would rather go to be honest. Nick being in Philadelphia for 3 years now you’d think he’d know about some better spots.

Kind of like Sonny Bryan’s BBQ in Dallas. They’ve been here forever and the visitors love it but it’s meh. There are several better BBQ joints around Dallas than Sonny Bryan’s.

Exactly. See and I wouldn’t know that but I’m not from Dallas. Locals just tend to know the best spots, the “hidden gems” if you will. In philly, pats and genos (which are right across the street from each other) get a lot of national media attention which is why they are so popular but locals definitely prefer other spots. I’m kidding about him getting fired for that but you would think after being in philly for 3 years he’d go to another spot. Delesandros or John’s roast pork or something. I think I remember talking to surf years ago on PSD about cheesteak spots and he knew what was up. Probably on one of his side missions as a hitman. Hitmen gotta eat too.

Chris simms is just a hot take factory. He needs ears for his podcast. I don’t take him seriously so he just doesn’t upset me

For what it’s worth I don’t take him seriously either. I agree that he’s doing things for click bait. I also wouldn’t say Hurts is overrated. He rated right where he should be based on his production.

I used to think that. Then I watched the Superbowl. He was excellent with low to minimal mistakes. Give props to Mahomes. Giving license to the Media to throw labels at guys because they couldn't defeat him. Karl Malone and John Stockton are overrated, because they couldn't defeat Michael Jordan. Sacramento Kings are overrated, because they couldn't defeat Shaq and Kobe. It happens

So what they’re saying is if you want to beat the Eagles just take out the security guy, got it!

I already told you he promoted Matt Patricia because he needed a fat Italian on the sidelines for emotional support.

What I’ve realized is that these “analysts” pick a side on a player and then marry that agenda. If they say a qb is gonna be good, they will back that player through the biggest struggles. If they think a player is gonna suck they will be the first to point out any mistake when they happen. Simms has never like hurts. He’s also a guy that’s always like Daniel jones and in fact I think he had Daniel jones as a top 10 qb before last year (2022 season). I don’t really put too much stock in what he’s gotta say to be honest

If they trade him I hope they nab Bryce huff and Jonathan greenard or Andrew van ginkel

I’d rather move back to a rotation

Here is some info on Dak and his contract extension. Looks like word is they are prepared to not give him a contract extension. Instead they might convert his salary to a signing bonus and push that money to one of the voided years on Dak’s contract.

What are the chances they draft Jackson Powers-Johnson to replace him? If he’s still in the board at 22 that is.

It’s my understanding that cam jurgens is already going to be the guy to replace kelce. They’ve been really high on him since he was drafted but couldn’t get him on the field with kelce there and that’s why he was the RG last year. I think jurgens moves over to center, his more natural position, and Tyler steen will play RG unless the eagles bring somebody else in to play RG.

There’s also this..

If Jeff stoutland likes somebody, there’s a good chance the eagles will pull the trigger. I honestly wonder if he’s got the biggest pull in the draft right now in the eagles organization outside of howie and Lurie.
