I knew it might happen when it looked like Shanahan was damn near about to take over the defense himself in OT.

Wilks has had a tough run of luck. Hard to fire a guy that had a defense that allowed 3rd fewest pts and 8th in yards or something like that. I don't care how talented they are.

don't know if anyone here is old enough to remember him, but Lefty Diesell passed away. Hall of Fame Coach...the only one to take 4 different schools to the NCAA tourney iirc
