If he was playing like this when he was drafted he'd be a legit blue chipper. B chips are rarely traded, if they are it's for stars.

Maxey got away with a travel there too.

He had a lot of travels actually. Not just that play. We can't really do anything about it since the league just lets them get away with it

Thibs simplified his game, and he’s giving us exactly what we needed all around. If he ever gets his 3 ball going semi consistently, then he can be a serious problem. This is getting interesting. He’s got 2+ more months to show this is for real. Things change fast, but as of now pay that man his money.

Shout out to Bojan for his Knick breakout game. Didnt take long, since the dude is a Croation scoring machine.

Josh, Donte, and Deuce helped close things out. Pesky little f*ckers they are.

Jalen was a tad off, but all good as he had a crazy week Im sure.

Isaiah hopefully just ramping up slowly. Jericho held it down well enough.

Time for Bahstin.

Players carry/travel/push off/illegal screens/flop CONSTANTLY in the league. Like pretty much every possession you will see at least one of these things happen with no call.

It just dawned on me...

1) We played Philly ON THE ROAD (division road games are never easy)
2) We are short handed - missing our entire starting frontcourt to be exact (play along with me on Mitch)
3) Brunson was uncharacteristically off, turning the ball over like crazy and missing gimmies
4) Philly had fresh legs after a long break
5) DiVo got blocked by the rim (again)
6) iHart is clearly rusty and still getting his legs/lungs back, AND
7) Philly was favored by Vegas (Knicks +1.5)

AND WE STILL WON BY 15 POINTS! AND, EVEN BETTER, KNICKS FANS TOOK OVER THE WELLS FARGO ARENA!

Ladies and gents, there are many things that can, and must, be improved. Believe me, there were a lot of nuances within the game that got my heart racing and had me biting my nails. But, please, for clarities sake, let's zoom out for a second... and take this all in. We still won by FIFTEEN! This is absolutely beautiful!

This is what you call "margin-for-error". Where we can win even if things dont work out perfectly in our favor. And, you know why? We are DEEP. We play smart. We play D. We DOMINATE the boards. And, we have DAWGS from top to bottom! (Precious, Divo, Hart & McBride specifically tonight. Im very happy with Sims too).

We won by 15 and it could have easily been 30-40. We have a really, really good team, a really good coach. These guys still have to figure each other out and it's not going to be pretty at times. But, I fully expect it to keep improving and improving. As long as we keep the currently available players healthy and add back some of our core pieces soon enough to build chemistry, we are looking good. I love this group of personalities.

Yeah, against a weaker team. I agree this is a great team. We just need everyone back healthy to beat better teams/win in the playoffs. Fingers crossed we get the stars to align for us. I have been saying it for two years. We have a good team. This year we are even better since the trade for OG/Precious. Bogs really helped out tonight too.

Fun times to be a fan!

Understood and agreed to an extent. Let's not forget that we just beat them in January 128-92 in Philly as well. We held them to 92 pts with Embiid playing 36 minutes.

With that said, in a game like tonights, with Embiid out and our big men extremely limited (no Mitch, iHart limited), I would have thought that it would be a shoot out. Games like this are typically fast, wide open, lots of 3s, etc. The guards step up and there's smaller lineups rolled out. But, even though that did happen to an extent, we still dominated the boards. We kept our identity. And, thats a testament to how great of a rebounder Hart, Precious and Sims are. Hart really is a game changer in that respect.

It also displayed that even when Brunson is REALLY off, we now have elite shooters next to him (Bojan and Divo tonight). Throw out the result of winning by 15. Did you notice that Philly wouldn't send the double team off of Bojan? The man stood home. The same for Divo. If Brunson was rolling, this could have been a 30 point game pretty easily. Just to refresh, against Miami last year, they kept sending the double and Brunson was still getting 30-40... but, when he did pass, RJ, Hart, Randle & IQ consistently bricked. It's what cost us the series. Tonight, was a perfect display of how different this team is.

What I'm trying to say is that, the X's and O's, when viewed on the tape, will look even better than the final result... which is extremely exciting.

There's reason to be excited if they are 100% healthy. We were the hottest team in the East last time we faced them. As much as we are missing players, they are missing an MVP candidate and we have one at PG. That team can't double off anyone now. They are weak and falling down the standings.

Last year is irrelevant. Half our team, was hurt and that's why we lost to MIA.

As long as we keep these guys healthy and, get the other guys back 100%, we are a contender THIS YEAR. Until then though, we are just a decent team who may slide down the standings ourselves if we don't get OG/Randle back. Without them we are going nowhere fast.

I really hope that's the rotation we see in the end.
Gives a lot of opportunity to swap offense for defense (and vice versa).
Burks and Sims give some nice insurance.

Depending on what happens with the Timberwolves, the preferred 'big move' (which I'm not advocating for) should be for Towns. Embiid's knees are going to be a problem the rest of his career. You will not be able to count on him - and Morey never trades anyone at a discount.

You guys already know I'm not a big Thibs fan. Credit where credit is due what he's done with Achiuwa has been very impressive. This isn't the same guy who was in Miami and Toronto. Thibs has a gift for developing bigs.

Apparently, he was prone to boneheaded plays.

But also their team was comprised entirely of forwards. They had like 8 3s and 4s. It was a tough situation for any of them individually to thrive.

Will be interesting to see his production once Randle comes back.

I predict production and minutes drop off a cliff while fan outrage peaks over here at RGM.
