not trying to take too much of a victory lap here but I felt like I was taking crazy pills when draft guys were saying he'd go top 3 in a re-draft after an objectively awful rookie year, including an awful G League stint

If I ever said something like that I was taking crazy pills. He's always had intriguing skills for his height, and he just turned 22, but he still has a lot of the same gaps he came in with, and he wasn't getting an opportunity with OKC.

No, it was people who do draft coverage I was referring to. I specifically remember Sam Vecenie being one of them saying that and I was just perplexed as I usually find Sam to be great
