Earlier this year they refused to play their best players in a game and got in trouble, essentially a tank move, so I’m not sure firing the coach now accomplishes anything?

?They cant tank as they dont own their draft picks, THIS is why they are do dumb to have turned down the Mikal trade offer from Houston

Trading Mikal to houton for their own draft picks back would have allow them to tank and rebuild quickly

Mike Conley just re-uped with Minnesota. I doubt he was a target but it does take another quality guard off the list.

The Phoenix Suns have until March 27th to sign Grayson Allen to an extension. I think they could be limited to what they can offer him.

Here's a funny stat: whereas Amen Thompson has shot the three-ball at a 15.8% clip, he actually is shooting it better than his brother. Ausar Thompson is at a 15.5% clip.

Sad.

I find Ausar usless at this point :dontknow:

He is like center trapped in 6'6 body without any defined basketball skill.

Reminds me on Stanley Johnson. 6'6-6'7 wing without jumpshot, can play defense, but has apsolute no role on offense whatsoever. Like, what to do with such player? Hide him at PF on dunker's spot? :noway:

Sure , it can work, if Pistons can find new Jokic to play offense for 3 men.

They should try to sign him to some kind of an extension as they are limited in ways to improve their team.

He is not useless. He could have a JI type of effect on defense at some point, or maybe a Bo Outlaw type of player with his size not like JI. But yea he is not going to be a guy you give the ball to ever to get a bucket and will be a floor shrinker. A role player at best. How do you play basketball for as long as he has in his life an be that bad at shooting 3s, he and his brother, they are definitely twins...

If Isaac is 6'6 instad of 7'0 he would never make it to nba .

Thing is, at 6'6 you are below nba league's average in size. And he is that and pretty much skill-less at this point of his career.

He is actually way worst than his stats show, when you watch him play it's sheer pain. He can't do anything but score in transition. Every nba player can score in transition

And as usual nowdays, he only pops in highlights that show 1% of actual game played, so you can't play some nuggets like this on your usual nba media providers

Read on Twitter

oh btw , twins aren't *that* young. They are 21.

and Bo *probably* wouldn't stick in current nba neither. Times changed. if you are averagad sized player and you aren't shooter, you simply have no role to play for too long. There are simply too many gifted all around players without fundamental flaw in their game that will push you away.

Pacers and Knicks win tonight. We likely are adding distance to our lead on the Bulls though

Philly losses is the big one and with our win we are now only 1.5 games behind them.

This team's margin of victory is small enough that no game is a cake walk.

I miss the days when our board had a dedicated thread to a player recently cut and we demand FO to sign him...
