We are right there… #2 on defense and have been coasting trying a bunch of different ish out on offense. With Jimmy season starting, Rozier beginning to gel and find a role on offense, Herro “sacrificing” for a better looking offense, and us ultimately dropping Mr. 0 points Lowry for Rozier and Wright, we might have a shot at actually giving teams trouble again these playoffs. And if Jovic is also actually inserted into the rotation, our offense should have an uptick. Hopefully our defense does not drop as a result.

I feel like Otto Porter Jr is a guy who makes a lot of sense to sign. A veteran who has been on contenders/champions and a career 40% shooter from 3. He'd be a great insurance policy in case Kevin Love or C Martin got injured and would also be able to slot in in front of Jovic come playoff time. He's not even 31 yet...

I agree I’d love Otto here to add depth at the 4. Also wouldn’t mind signing Poku who was just cut by the Thunder. He has a very unique combination of skill and size, not sure what the deal is with him

So many negative things about Poku. Scouts saying Poku has a below highschool basketball IQ.

Not against it, but wow this guy averages 34 games a year the last 5 seasons and has only played 15 this year past the AS break. Injuries or just benchings?

His problem is not IQ he's actually a above average passing player(normally a sign of a high IQ player), it's a complete lack of motor/toughness (being injured) has all the talent in the world just does nothing with it. Like he's got great timing on blocking shots but goes whole games without bothering to contest a a single one. I don't think Poku is a good fit in Miami way to soft. I don't think I have seen him make a hard move to the rim like more than 5 times in his whole career.

If j poole eventually gets a Buy out In Washington, would you consider him as a good player in the heat?

I think he would become a star

Passing the ball is not IQ, that just a skill set like shooting. There are stupid passers. Understanding plays/system and understanding how to use your ability to manipulate plays to success is IQ. I havent watched the kid, but that is what I was told. That he came in the league and was very low and behind in understanding the game for his age. And I heard this a while ago.

I never watched the kid. However, from what i was told I am not surprised he was released. The only reason I know who he is because of the person telling me this was so adament about this kid bad IQ, it was kind of shocking.

No idea, but as a 14th/15th player you have no obligation to play, the risk is as low as one can ask for.

Poole is like literally the guard version of JaVale McGee. He's like the blooper reel gift that keeps on giving haha

So happy for him if that's true... But I'd have him take a game off to be sure.

Half a game behind the Pacers. Pacers got the Mavs Sunday and the Heat got the Kings Monday
