I’m one of the biggest Matt and Jack fans out there but that was really starting to piss me off after awhile.

Yeah that was far from the best part,

It should have been a 30 second "bit", then get back to being professional and call the game.

I had a good chuckle, it was 2 lotto teams battling out for nothing. I gotta find the fun somewhere lol.

Theyre really in jail from a team building point of view.

They'll likely come out of it before we do. Where there is a will to turn things around there is usually a way. It's being tentative, "safe", bad at scouting and poor asset managers that can hamper a franchise.

Why do you think that? Less decent young players than us and bad draft capital.

We should be better than them soon with minimal work.

Surely you are not suggesting the Nets have done a better job of asset management than the Raptors? Their current draft capital deficit has resulting in very little in terms of assets on their roster. They paid for the right to have 3 all-star players walk through their franchise for nothing.

If you are down on how the Raptors are being managed, you must be down on the Nets too as they've made all of our mistakes, but to far greater extent.

The past does not count any more. There is only now. It's what happens from here on that matters.

From here on involves the Nets not controlling their own draft pick for the next 4 years, starting with a roster that is not good, and still having the same FO that led to this situation.

Sean Marks has been GM since 2016. In the time frame where our FO went fielded a consistent playoff team culminating in winning a championship, the Nets best season was 48 wins and eastern conference semis.

Again, if you are down on the Raptors FO, consider that the Nets FO has been much worse.

Barnes is killing us. Way to not ever involve Dick too...Force feeding Hibachi ain't it.

Return to Toronto Raptors
