Yup. Grimes will be good.
Other option for success is Bogs' contact helps bring in someone great. But losing Grimes was a problem.

JB all by himself right now.

not that he's perfect, but i can't look at who they have to play tonight and who we have to play and think the difference in this game came down to coaching. sorry.

Playing ihart and Brunson is malpractice. He acts like he gets points for losing by 15 rather than 20.

Get well soon Randle . And OG
The problem is that even with those players, it's a scheme issue, the coach is doubling guys who don't need it which is leading to open threes. He's keeping non-shooting bigs on the floor together for an entire quarter even though it's not working.
All that would change with them is that instead of Brunson going 1 on 1 all the time it's going to be Randle going 1 on 1, and praying our team can get an OREB if either guy misses, while they go down the other end and hunt for mismatches (Donte) and wait for Tom to send the double.

Pistons fleeced us. Id rather have Grimes right now. Bogey is an awkward fit and I never want to see Burks again.

If Bogey can come thru in the playoffs and Burks doesn’t play it can still work out

Exactly what I came to post. He out. Big situational.
Burks can't seem to get rid of the losing mentality in Detroit. He plays like the outcome doesn't matter, just ball.
Fully healthy, Burks should only be in if we're in an offensive rut and need a bench player to shake things up.

That’s what top-tier defenses do to you. Every player is solid defensively. Not many weaknesses.

The height thing makes no sense bc Burks is soft and adds nothing defensively
What is his height for — shooting more?

its not black and white like that
there is nuance to this.
celtics are better and healthy...if you think you have no chance why even play the game and risk injury?
we were tied at one pt in the 3rd.
