Wait, so you think we drafted another Houstan at 11? Be serious

Just because Jett went 11th doesn't mean he was actually an 11th overall pick caliber of prospect.

By pretty much any mock draft you want to look at, Jett was a pretty significant reach. Most had him in the 20-25 range.

Houstan went 32nd.

I don't think their play styles are necessarily the exact same, but I don't think Jett is significantly better than Caleb despite his much higher draft slot.
See the way I look at it is that the same evaluation staff took Houston 32nd and Jett 11th. So the gap is legitimate for consideration.

4 point lead feels like 50 with our offense.

Magic playing like they’re not serious about winning or being competitive.

I don't really agree with this because that just so happens to be where the Magic were picking those years.

If the Magic had been picking 20th in 2022 and 2023, it stands to reason Jett and Caleb would have both been the 20th overall pick, ya know?

I think we're getting a taste of what our defense going to be like with JI out. This is going to be hard.
