atlanta are missing key players too. We've been fairly lucky with opponents injuries so far this season.

6-15 from the ft line is inexcusable. rest or no rest.

They'd still be down double digits even if they shot 100% from the line.

Moe doesn't look as good without another big like Isaac with him on the floor.

Which is fine cause we have Paolo.
This isn't the right kind of evidence to use to make this case, but it's true either way.

Franz had two non shooters starting with him tonight. Goga and Black.

That isn't the point I'm making. The other players on the board are irrelevant.

The point is Jett went 11th because the Magic were picking 11th and liked him. Not because he was worth the 11th overall pick.

Had the Magic been picking 18th instead of 11th, Jett would have gone 18th.

Adam Silver’s RealGM burner account has been uncovered y’all!

C’mon man, you’ve got little to no insight into what other teams would’ve done on draft night.

Why not?

The Magic's 2nd draft pick was 11th overall in 2023 and 32nd in 2022.

If their 2nd pick had been later than 11th in 2023, Jett wouldn't have gone 11th.

The fact that they picked Jett 11th over all possible players available at that point in the draft implies he holds a high value to them.
Gradey Dick was the pick at 11. Major reach for Jett.

there is literally no motion to this offense, all were doing is setting picks and hoping guys can play 1 on 1

when is the last time we had one guy cutting?

in 2 games we have had to take like 15-20 shots with 5 seconds left that were forced.

this offense sucks. Mosley has to be top 5 least creative in the league.

it's our defense that keeps us in games, and tonight its no where.

We're shooting 6-15 on free throws, have one respectable guard ATM, down Paolo and Isaac, arguably the most important cogs in terms of game-planning on offense and defense, and on a B2B...

I don't know what creativity you're looking for in terms of getting easy shots. They can literally load up on Franz or Suggs and watch everyone else panic because they can play off of them.

These dorks were up 6 at the half and now down by 20 with 8+ in the 4th. That’s got to be some record for futility.

They don't have enough shooters and they don't have capable guards in general, specifically point guards.

So they rely HEAVILY on two young forwards making things happen in isolation and in pick and roll... and one of those two isn't available.

But yeah Mosley sucks or whatever.

I pray for the day we get a solid point guard, and see if Mosley's offensive genius it being held back because of it.

Can’t be many people who
still defend Jett at 11. Gradey Dick was the easy pick, but many others would have been better as well.

Weltman’s folly with our lottery picks, terrible job addressing needs before the season and then again at the deadline should be proof enough that he needs to go.
