Which is fine cause we have Paolo.
This isn't the right kind of evidence to use to make this case, but it's true either way.

Franz had two non shooters starting with him tonight. Goga and Black.

To be fair Paolo also played with Goga and Black, and I felt Paolo had more influence and this team gave more effort in those games. But Franz has only played one game alone.

So the hawks taboo continues... just odd. I hope we don't see them in the play in.

it's our defense that keeps us in games, and tonight its no where.

They don't have enough shooters and they don't have capable guards in general, specifically point guards.

So they rely HEAVILY on two young forwards making things happen in isolation and in pick and roll... and one of those two isn't available.

But yeah Mosley sucks or whatever.

you didn't know we were supposed to go undefeated this season? #fireMose

I am not suggesting we fire him at all. I actually like him. I just think we have seen time and time again teams shut us down, and not having Paolo to create shows how bad it is.

At some point, having a bottom 3 offensive rating, and a bottom 3 shooting team, can't just always be the Coach being held back right?

If Carter was playing smarter on D those past few possessions, we'd be down by less than 10 rn

So the fact that the players can't shoot...3's or even free throws...is somehow Mose's fault? There is nothing wrong with the looks they get...they just don't make them.

Isn't that exactly what it means? Lol. The roster has barely changed in terms of getting a point guard or high volume shooting.

Like, I don't think he's D'Antoni or Kerr or someone with offensive schemes, but NBA offenses are largely built around personnel rather than coaching. If you let 2 different coaches coach 41 games of a season, I doubt you'd see crazy variance in terms of "unlocking" some crazy schemes - and if there was big variance, I think you'd see a huge dip in defense.

C’mon man, you’ve got little to no insight into what other teams would’ve done on draft night.

The Magic's front office is both the least creative and least aggressive in the entire NBA. You know this.

Could they have taken somebody like Lively 11th overall and then turned around and actually attempted to get aggressive and creative and looked to traded up from their 2nd round pick 36 to like the early 20s using a future asset and still very likely gotten Howard there?

I think it's at least possible that could have happened and they never even remotely considered the possibility.

And then to put the cherry on top, not only did they pick Jett earlier than he probably deserved to go, but apparently he's so raw and bad that he can't even sniff the floor for a team that's absolutely desperate for shooting.

Resident Cole hater here but I've been impressed with his defense tonight. Wish he was always this actively on this side of the ball

I wish this game was over. It feels like it's been going on for years.

I just asked someone who was hating on Mose's lineups what lineup he wanted, and he said "The one he hasn't tried yet" which is Magic poster logic 101.

Bonehead Cole, it never fails. Basically killed the last bit of momentum we had. Game officially over now.

We are not in anyway valuing the ball or trying to defend. I can't take this for the next 25 games.
