Big game today Mavs/Pacers. Mavs need to win, to stay ahead of the Pacers and keep Pacers in the play in.

I'm not sure what is going on with Haliburton , is he still on minutes restriction and will he play tomorrow.

Pacers getting 4th in the lottery and raptors drafting a superstar would be one of the most unlikely/memorable moments in raptors history, were it to happen. Way more likely than winning the actual lottery! Reminds me of poker, when you go runner runner flush or straight to win an unlikely hand.

stop living in pre-masai past.

the most raptors thing ever? drafting the 3rd best player in the 2023 draft at #13.

Too bad about Embiid, Sixers are likely going to fall into the play in soon.

Pacers might not be in the play-in right now but who knows how the standings will pan out? Funniest outcome would be them losing the play-in to us for the 8th seed and their pick being 4th overall.

No it wouldn't be funny. It just emboldens the "Masai is a genius" crowd for lucking into a good result with horrific process (of rebuilding)

The question is, does meaningful development actually occur within a perennial losing culture/tanking? I personally feel that if you have a strong scouting team that you bet on, it makes more sense to build and sustain a winning culture as opposed to intentionally lose and/or strip your team of any quality players that can help your young stars mature and learn winning basketball.

Pistons, Wizards, Hornets would really like to say hello to you. It’s a game of odds, destroy your team culture for a 15% chance at a number 1 pick that has a 15% chance of translating into a future superstar.

I’ll take what Masai is selling, it’s worked for us in the past and is a more sustainable model with less luck involved. Key word being less, ofcourse getting lucky along the way is always needed.

So you won't even be happy with a good result if it goes against your online brand, got it.

I’ll say it again….as long as Indy finishes in a play-in spot, I’m happy. I don’t trust them to win 1-2 big games with that D.

Pacers going to finish top six most likely with the Sixers just crapping everywhere. They would have to lose to ORL.

that Embiid injury is really helping them. I think they make the top 6.

Indeed especially the Pacers pick

Without involving the lottery the IND pick could easily fall anywhere between 13 to 23.

Obviously I would like the pick to be as good as possible but as long as it’s stays in the “teens” i will be happy.

Eh, whatever, you're cheering against getting good draft lottery picks, you've gone way to far in your villain arc, Dellabot.

I heard somewhere that the Magic have the easiest remaining schedule. I think it may have been on the No Dunks podcast. Not sure if true but hopefully it is and the Magic finish above the Pacers. The 76ers are just not any good without Embiid. Harris is really **** the bed for them in the games I have seen.

Is there protection on the pick?!

Imagine how sweet it would be if the Hawks knocked them out of the Play In and then somehow fluked into the top 4 lol
