This is how every game has gone. Get it close and then go cold

If Golden State can bench Klay then we can bench Tobias. It’s time.

At least Maxey isn’t afraid of Boston anymore. He used to struggle bad vs them.

Wow, that ended pretty quickly.

Mmm he still has to play good if he wants a good contract with other team next season.
If this a mental thing he's boycotting himself bad
It's definitely mental at this point. Something is truly off with him. He's never this bad.

Every time I turned this game on tonight, Boston immediately went on a huge run.

Tobias is definitely going through an episode of something. It is what it is. A couple more months and he will finally be off this team.

Hield also hit two 3s right away then never scored again.

Can't believe we can find a coach who's worse than Brett Brown ...

Cant win with Hield, Oubre and Tobi playing like this.

I watched the first half. Told myself it was a good effort and then didnt check again until a couple of minutes ago and saw what I expected which is a 15+ point loss. You are seeing why Buddy Hield was available for three second round picks. He is a very good 3pt shooter and pretty much mediocre everywhere else. When you rely so heavily on 3's your going to have hot streaks and your going to have cold streaks. We punted on this year I made peace with it after raging for a couple of days around the trade deadline anybody who still is holding out hopes for an Embiid to return and some magical playoff run just give it up lol. When healthy this team is reminiscent of the squad that finished first in the east Morey's first season. A good regular season team but not enough top end talent to make a playoff run. They rely so heavily on Embiid and Maxey everyone else is a situational role player. Lastly, Tobi is a loser. I dont buy that the Sixers havent been trying to trade him for years. No one wanted him at that salary for anything. Not even matching salary bums in return.

Nurse is starting to annoy me like Doc.

Re: Game 58: 76ers @ Boston
lol
maybe its not the coach?
no seriously why is the only answer Philly fans have to their teams sucking being to fire the coach or trade the best players?
Nurse isn't going anywhere and with a already sub par roster missing its best player...yeah we are going to lose against the best teams.
He has some quirks to his coaching I don't always agree with but thats every single coach....seriously go to any board and you will see a "why doesn't bench player 11 play more...coach must hate him" post lol. Doc was a dick head in the media and never adjusted come playoff time.....but TBF our media sucks and adjust to what? Brett hated PNR and loved DHO....but our "PG" was Ben Simmons.
The full roster construction has been subpar....they relied on Embiid to mask a ton and when he wasn't able to we had no pivot to go to. No amount of coaching can overcome that against better teams and until the FO realizes that...we will probably be still here.
NOW I think Nurse is nuts enough to at least try ****...he did that this very game with going small, swarming with our midgets.....he also tried to get Tobias going...which was dumb...not going to win em all and its the regular season, the best time to try **** anyway. Doc lost me when he had Danny on Trea and refused to play Maxey...that cost us a series...until Nurse's idiosyncracies cost us a a winnable playoffs round...i don't care what dumb **** he does rn. (Doc was lower on the blame list for last year IMO...still was time to move on tho)

Re: Game 58: 76ers @ Boston
The coach was never the biggest issue with the Sixers, I've said it since the Brett Brown days. The players are way more to blame. The GM has been more responsible than the coaches too. People only blame the coaches because it's easier to do that than admit your own team isn't good enough. People will start blaming Nurse because accepting that the Sixers season ended when Embiid went down isn't easy to do. This roster isn't good.
Also the process culture of overhyping role players because they're cute and fun has conditioned people to way overrate their value over the years. The Sixers have a roster of guys with varying degrees of impact, but let's be real. On the entire roster they only have two guys who are must keep. Embiid and Maxey. Every single other guy on the team is entirely replaceable. Not the sign of a good roster.
