It looks like a win win to me. OG wanted out and was happy to join the Knicks. Precious adds some depth to their injured front court. IQ, RJ and the Detroit pick allow the Raptors to get younger and attempt to rebuild. It seems to me to be a good ole fashion trade between unlikely partners.

It is not even a guarantee that OG is the best player in the deal long-term... it does seem to be a guarantee that Precious (and Flynn) are the worst.
The fit for NYK is great with OG, but IMO IQ and RJ both have the potential to be better than him.

Achiuwa didn't become a different guy. He just has a coach who is giving him way more minutes and has put him in a limited ball handling role that Nurse and Darko failed with.
But in the end, Achiuwa is making himself more expensive and it's ok that he Raps are not the ones having to pay that.

Good on Achiuwa, not only is he averaging good numbers, but those numbers actually impact winning in a big way. Knicks are 9-5 since Achiuwa started getting big minutes.

Always felt he was badly mis used and badly coached in toronto... ibwas expecting him to break out... he s better than any big on raps (exclusive scottie).

Yeah he has legit injury concerns.
I wonder how much of it is that he is hurt and how much of it that he has a low tolerance for discomfort, because they are always just weird different little injuries and really nothing ever "serious"

Hmmm hadn't ever considered that but it seems true that his injuries are all kinda bizarre. We've been chalking it up to bad luck for years now. I wonder if he just kinda likes time off on the low.

Right they cut into his elbow to take out a loose bone fragment that wasn't really there
