Yeah I was a little down on the Pascal return but Ochai and Kelly are looking like very good bench players that fit our style of play well. I loved watching Ochai in the tournament, but wasn't sure he was a NBA player after his first couple games here. I'm pretty psyched about his potential now.

It may look even better if Brown is flipped by the draft.

Siakam doesn't even move the needle much as an impact player

He's currently playing like the Pacers best player.

Indiana was the #1 offense in the league and Siakam's contribution is mostly on offense. He's more consistent on O than any other player outside of a healthy Haliburton, but he's basically replacing Indiana's high octane offense with his own usage. So what's the point?

Their defense got slightly better, but is still shaky. It got better when they went up against a depleted NYK (twice), Charlotte (twice) and Detroit. But ultimately, they're still having defensive woes.

Masai's timeline is longer than the 'hot take' crowd here. Now that everyone's expecations have been lowered and their appetites suppressed, this RealGM board is starting to get more tolerable.

Now that the young guys are starting to get into their new roles, it's fun again to watch these guys grow before our eyes. The organization is so much stronger than the early years, so expectations can start to rise again with these good growth spurts. This is a good stretch but the crows will be back when there's a wobble.

Nope, all this is, is a 3 game winning streak. Nothing is etched in stone one way or the other, people are just satiated by a couple wins. I am definitely not sold on this yet, gonna have to see what transpires during the off season before the pitchfork goes anywhere.

It's definitely a more enjoyable style of basketball, cant argue that. It just isnt a particularly talented team is all.

Siakam doesn't even move the needle much as an impact player unlike what OG did for the Knicks. Indiana seems to be around the same level pre-trade and it's not like he carried the Raptors anywhere. To top it off, he's looking for a max contract.

Dude may be in reality a neutral asset.

Indiana had been without Haliburton and even when he has played he’s been limited. Only recently have they started ramping his minutes up. I am mildly intrigued to see how they play when they are healthy. Definitely not contenders but the fact they can possibly get a top 6 seed is a huge win given the fact they were in the lottery last year.
