Wow massive choke. I think we matchup well with the Lakers, but LeBron's playoff experience is something to consider.

I doubt they make it to the playoffs. I favor the Warriors over the Lakers, and any of the mid tier teams over both.

Timberwolves now have the 8th hardest remaining schedule. They went 3-0 against the sub .500 teams on the homestand. Now we need to finish strong.

Forgot to mention: 15 of our remaining 23 are against winning teams (above .500.)

That is why I am projecting 57 wins. We loss some games that we shouldn't earlier. OKC also has a much easier schedule. DEN with everyone healthy is going to make a push for higher seeding. Now we need to be beat DEN, LAC, and PHX to have a chance for 60 wins.

Denver isn’t healthy. Murray is playing through shin splints and they will probably start resting him mid March to get him healthier for the playoffs. OKC might have an easier schedule, but they also have younger players including a rookie C, a Rookie backup PG, and a sophomore PF. I could see the rookie wall being a factor for OKC. Finally, the Suns are not that tough in my eyes. They caught us in a vulnerable moment before, but I think we sweep them.

I predict somewhere between 57-60 and that landing spot will either be 1st or 2nd. I don’t think the Clippers or Nuggets end above 55.

The announcer of the Lakers/Clippers pregame was hilarious. Said something like, "Huge game for both teams making their playoff pushes, as the Clippers look to fight for the 1 seed and the Lakers fighting to stay out of the play-in tournament."

Seriously? Lakers should count their lucky stars if they DO make the play-in. People just assume Lebron is in. Would be so great to see them miss the playoffs altogether!

I prefer a playoffs with LeBron to one without him. He's such a great story in his age 100 season.

LAL are going to make the play-in then anything can happen in one game. However, I don't know why they still play DsLOw and Reaves in the same back court. They made their run last night by moving DsLOw out the guard the corner 3s.

HOU is too far out. MEM is too bang up. POR don't have the talent. Jazz and SAS have zero incentive. In my opinion, SAS could easily win 10 more games if they really tried. Just park Wemby in the low post would had given them 10 more points per game.

Clippers are paper tigers. They beat up on bad teams (18+3 vs sub .500 teams), but struggle against good teams (19-17 against over .500 teams) and against size.

Wolves, Thunder and Nuggets are a clear cut above the rest of the West (Celtics and Bucks are the cream of the East):

Who thinks the Spurs can pull the upset and give us a 1 game lead on OKC?

Personally, I doubt it, but it would be nice :)

It's actually only 14, but let's break this down further...
vs. >.700 teams: 0
vs. .600-.699 teams: 7 (3 vs. Denver, 2 vs. Cleveland, 2 vs. LA Clippers)
vs. .500-.599 teams: 7 (2 vs. Phoenix, 2 vs. LA Lakers, 1 vs. Sacramento, 1 vs. Golden State, 1 vs. Indiana)
vs. 400-.499 teams: 5 (2 vs. Utah, 1 vs. Houston, 1 vs. Chicago, 1 vs. Atlanta)
vs. .300-.399 teams: 1 (1 vs. Toronto)
vs. <300 teams: 3 (1 vs. Washington, 1 vs. Portland, 1 vs. Detroit)

We may finally found the SGA stopper. Wemby off to a good start so far. Hopefully SAS pull a miracle tonight.

Spurs are up 7 points with a minute to go in the 3rd. No they will not pull the upset. They don't want to pull the upset.

Looks like the Spurs are about to beat the Thunder! Awesome finish with the Spurs going crazy, Wemby with some big plays including a huge block on Chet. Good news for the wolves cause the Thunder have been destroying teams.

Yes, Wemby always plays better in 4th qtr. SAS my second favorite team of today!
