Quicker release, higher release point, better off movement and off-balance. It should have been obvious if you ever watched Beasley shoot before this year. Grayson's a guy that had to set his feet and square up every single time, or else he was getting run off the line against any hard closeout (see: Boston series).
All those things you mentioned that beas does better than allen.Does this board see those same traits in green. That makes green beas 2.0
Green has an insanely high release on his shot, so based on that, he should be able to get it off even against hard closeouts. He also seems good at running around screens and quickly setting his feet to get a look off.
I haven’t seen him do a lot of the side step stuff Beas does, but that doesn’t mean he can’t, just that in his limited in game action he hasn’t.
Green also continues to improve ant everything since we first saw him on the court. His first few times out there he seemed to be the worst defender of all-time and couldn’t be trusted to not have the ball taken right out of his hands. Since then he’s added a ton of strength, seems laterally quicker as he now stays in front of most guys on D, and he’s good enough with the ball that I wouldn’t mind seeing them have him run some PnR as it might get him some open looks from deep.
