Portnoy gave that rating (which I think was 10) as a joke because the lady was really nice to him...and actually I don't think there's a bigger or more condensed pizza chain in North America than pizza pizza (that is, how the chain is to Canada vs any other pizza chain in the USA) so they knew he had to rate it for a joke. Now his 8.4 rating for North of Brooklyn is legit. I'd rate it higher than Jonh's of Bleekers St in NYC which got 9.3 (though one of his earlier reviews). Though when I had it I didn't eat it straight out of the oven.

It better be a joke. He knows his pizza, or at least eats plenty of different locations compared to me. But I can't get behind Pizza Pizza as a top-chain choice in Canada. But these things are subjective and theres no "right" answer.
