the have won 5 in a row on the road including back to backs and 4 of the wins were against teams with better record than them.
if they can keep that level they can get even 3rd seed, othewise who knows, they acan easily slip to 8th place again...

3rd seed is out of reach imo.

Bucks would have to play below .500 and Heat would need to win around 17 out of last 24 games to surpass them. Bucks also now have tiebreaker so they would have to have 1 W more at the end.

Probably most interesting team to follow, due all the wrong reasons are Knicks. Brunson hurt, Randle Hurt, OG hurt, Hartenstein hurt, Robinson hurt.

They will get Brunson back soon, not sure for the others.

If the Heat lose tonight the Magic take the 6th seed. Sixers loss vs Hornets tomorrow should put them at 5th seed and one win away from 4th.

Immediately switched to that game after ours. It was an amazing game. You're not wrong about needing JI healthy.

I have a feeling only JI can slow down Wemby in a few years. No one else is 7ft, long and quick with a good bbiq to deal with Wemby one-on-one

Orlando has now tied it's win total from last year. ANd in doing so is back up to the 6 seed. That was a nice win for the confernce standings race.

p.s. Orlando now has more W's than Philly does. Wow.

p.p.s. The Heat lost so Orlando is currently in sole possession of the division lead!

p.p.p.s. Orlando's annual midseason slump is clearly over:

It's incredible race and playoffs are going to be tough. I am not one to be calculating and picking opponents, even though I do have wishes, I say we play whoever comes out of the West and give them hell.

Mo Bamba is starting against Clifford's Hornets, 1 week after Clifford made remarks about some 6th picks not being good enough to be in the NBA.

When we were tanking, I would watch the teams close to us rooting for them to win.

Now, I watch on our off-nights hoping the team close to us lose

I'm locked into this Philly/Hornets game and will jump to the Indy game afterwards.

We can always rely on Coach Cliff to try to win no matter what.

IND vs NOP... hmmm Pelicans have let ua down twice alreayd in the last week by folding against teams we wanted to lose. Dunno if we can trust then to do us a solid against Indy

Agreed. I don't trust NOP at all. I expect Indy to win that one and will be pleasantly surprised if I'm wrong.

NOP decided to play like a playoff team today. We'll see if it continues.
