I was thinking the same, hard for us to continue shooting this poorly and for them to remain this hot? Except for that one god awful Timmy 3 attempt it wasn't awful shot selection, etc.

Hmm i don't know, i felt like Kyrie and specially Timmy forced it a bit. I mean Tim takes it to another level of idiotic shots, even commentator talked about it lol... But Kyrie has to get going and if Celtics calm down a bit with 3s then yeah Mavs would have a chance.

Also, Kidd has to put either PJ or DJJ on Tatum, Green is not strong enough for him. I don't understand these defensive assignments. Then you have PJ guarding Brown. Makes no sense.

He was misused as a Mav. Not that I'd want that team over this one but they had him standing at the 3 point line instead of attacking the basket.

If we had him with this team and he was used the way the Celtics do we'd be championship contenders.

You can't make this **** up anymore. Mavs almost take the lead, Tim comes into the game and opposing team goes on a run. Literally like clockwork.

Mavs really suck at defending the 3 Point line.... it's frustrating how many teams get hot from 3 against them.... it's not a coincidence, their rotations on D suck, trying to switch everything, and when the opponents have good ball movement the D collapses

Mavs again playing small and doesn't work. Another coaching masterclass with Gaff riding the bench.

Boston represent the East in the finals. They're the most complete team in the Eastern Conference. The only threat I see is Indiana.

Another Kidd genius quarter costing us the game... how do you play this disastrous Maxim, THJ and Exum lineup when the Cs are going big with KP, Halford and their stars...

More on Maxi and Exum this time - for once.

Kidd tries to adjust to the other team, but sometimes you can make the other team adjust to you. It's like he doesn't understand that concept.

Ok Maxi might be able to guard the 3 a little bit, but having Gafford in the post puts pressure on the Celtics.

I'm ok with Maxi playing 4 to replace PJ but you can't have Maxi at 5 and then small guys around you. Specially when Lively is having a monster game and Gaff has proven he can protect the rim and rebound well. Hoping on Maxi to spread the floor and hit some open 3s is delusional.

Having Maxi at 5 plus THJ and Kyrie in the game at the same time is a disaster on defense against top teams.

I just don't think Maxi is a 5

he is getting all of Gafford's minutes and there is no reason for it

And they just re-signed Maxi for 3 more years, which Gafford has the same contract length. This could go on the entire time if they don't replace Kidd.

You wont beat this Boston team with simply x and o. You have to be extremely aggressive on both sides of the ball and bring the fight to them. If you don't do that, you're going to lose. Unfortunately, this Dallas team is still lacking at the SF spot and Kidd doesn't seem to really have these guys playing the type of defense and intensity needed to rise to their level of completion. That's what I see. This seems like a walk through. The body language is terrible and there's no intensity. The Miami heat showed everyone the blueprint the Celtics. This is why I say the Mavs need a dog next year ... preferably at small forward. This team needs way more figjht and it's starts with your coach.this soft mentality won't cut it.

Don't believe me when I said Green has low ball iq? What was that on a fast break and got his arse blocked? This guy doesn't know what change of pace is. He is either yes or no when he decided to do something.

No cap space or draft picks. Would have to come via trade.

Mavs haven't had a good small forward since, Shawn Marion?
