From MIN’s perspective, I think Kyle Anderson for Monte Morris was reasonable, but prefer Shake Milton + Troy Brown Jr + 2nd.

SloMo has struggled badly with his outside shot this year, but he provides connectivity and defense that Finch probably wants on the roster when they head towards the playoffs. The continuity for the young team, and the flexibility to respond to different match ups during the game is probably why they opted to their actual trade.

Neither version makes any sense for Detroit, but Troy Weaver is a complete imbecile. For Minny it's a slam dunk. A distant 2nd and 2 non NBA players for a top backup PG in his prime/

Shake sucks but TBJ actually was solid for MN. He just couldn’t get minutes w Ant, Jaden, NAW & Slomo ahead of him. I personally would rather have him than current Slomo.
Finchy seems to think kyle can rediscover his shot.

TBJr is a 9-10th man level of player. I like Stanley Umude (our 2 way player) as much as TBJr FWIW.

The fact that he is wearing the cursed #7 doesn't make me like him any more (Ben Gordon/ Brandon Knight/ Stanley Johnson/ Killian Hayes). #7 should be banned by Detroit.

9-10th for Minny. I liked TBJ better than former wolf T. Prince who is currently about 6-7th on the Lakers depth chart. I felt MN won that FA swap.

Lakers have LeBron AD a super overrated Reaves and a bunch of baddies, ofc he would be better than 6-7th on the Lakers. He is 9-10th on most NBA rosters. He is not good.

FWIW neither TBJr or Milton are part of Detroit's rotation. Troy Weaver is by far the worst GM in any professional sport.

I would have no issues with sending Bojan and Burks back if that would make you feel better. I will take Grimes and his inconsistency back and Fournier is welcome to sit on the bench again collecting a check here in New York if he wants.

TBJr and Milton were traded for Monte Morris.

Grimes is nothing special, Burks and Bojan were playing well for Detroit, their defense was laughable tho.

We'll happily take Grimes back, he can have all of Burks's minutes and then some

Quentin may never be anything special offensively...though I still think he has a lot of untapped offensive potential if you can rebuild his confidence because he's shown a nice handle when attacking kickouts and good things tended to happen when he drove for us because he makes smart & unselfish decisions.

...but the kid was an excellent defender for us, who teams had to respect behind the arc.
