Matchups
Curry on Steph
Lowry on DFS
Kawhi on Marion
Blake on Bosh
Mourning on Howard
I feel like defensively I have a pretty great team overall. 2-DPOY winners and an all nba defense 1st member and Lowry, Gasol, Diaw as my next best set of defenders. Really strong on that side of the ball.
Curry has the perfect resume and skills to defend Steph and do as good as anyone can
Lowry is going to hide on DFS who is playing out of position, imo.
Kawhi is a monster who should be able to really lock down what Marion brings who, imo, is post prime here which also saves Kawhi a bit and lets him cheat off on everybody as this Marion is only 19% from the 3pt line. Kawhi gets to help where ever and whenever he wants to.
Blake takes on Bosh, and Blake not know as a defender has the tools to be able to compete with Bosh wherever Bosh goes on the floor.
MOurning is a great cover for Dwight. Another DPOY player who is one of the strongest guys to play wont get bullied here.
Offensivly I believe I have a great team here.
Leonard is my big ticket here. A lot of plays will go through him. Pretty much elite at everything basketball.
Lowry runs the point, and he has proven success with Kawhi doing that.
Christie is my other "point" guy who when Kawhi or Lowry isnt running the ball up the court, can step in an make plays for teammates.
Blake is my high flyer who brings elite efficiency on offense as well as passing from the front court.
Mourning is my bruiser, pick setter, low post precense who still has a midrange jumper if needed.
Off the bench I have a great Vet in Marc Gasol who has championship experience and he can protect the rim and make some threes.
Diaw can give me a little swiss army type stuff off the bench.
And Crawford is my scorer off the bench, 6moty winner who will come in and just get buckets.
