This more or less erases our loss to the Spurs. Now we just need a couple more bad teams to beat the Thunder to erase our loses to the Hornets and Bulls.

Man, SAS and Wemby acts like they just won the championship. Almost as over the top as Pat Bev jumping on the scoring table after the play-in win

They're a bottom of the ladder team who just beat one of the strongest teams in the West... They can cheer all they want ;)

The thunder have like 3 wins just given to them by the refs in the last minutes.

Jamal Murray hurt. Ankle now in addition to shin splints. Gonna get spicy for the Nuggets.

Forgot to mention: 15 of our remaining 23 are against winning teams (above .500.)

That is why I am projecting 57 wins. We loss some games that we shouldn't earlier. OKC also has a much easier schedule. DEN with everyone healthy is going to make a push for higher seeding. Now we need to be beat DEN, LAC, and PHX to have a chance for 60 wins.

Denver isn’t healthy. Murray is playing through shin splints and they will probably start resting him mid March to get him healthier for the playoffs. OKC might have an easier schedule, but they also have younger players including a rookie C, a Rookie backup PG, and a sophomore PF. I could see the rookie wall being a factor for OKC. Finally, the Suns are not that tough in my eyes. They caught us in a vulnerable moment before, but I think we sweep them.

I predict somewhere between 57-60 and that landing spot will either be 1st or 2nd. I don’t think the Clippers or Nuggets end above 55.

OK, you maybe right about that statement. Feel bad for Murray. He plays great when healthy but just can't seem to stay healthy. Just left the game twisting his ankle.

They are absolutely doomed if he misses the playoffs.

I truly believe they might shut him down around the 10th of March and ramp him back up around April 2nd or 3rd. Give him rest to recover for the playoffs. Trust that they can win from any seed, and trust that they can keep their heads above water (6th or better,) without him. This might be sped up if the ankle is truly bad.

Can we get some help from ol' pal Jimmy as well?

Just so long as Jokic kicks him in the jewels right as the buzzer is sounding to end the game ;).

Lakers really might lose to the 12 game losing streak Wizards after the Lakers just knocked off the Clippers.

March 1st update of schedule strength: PHX #1, LAL#4, Wolves #9, SAC #10, LAC #12, NOP #14, OKC #15, DEN #18, DAL #20, GSW #24

GSW and DAL may jump out of the play-in. PHX likely fighting to avoid play-in, so Wolves game against them wii be tough.

Interesting and potentially significant development. Russell Westbrook broke his hand tonight against the wizards. I doubt he will be back during the regular season, and might be out for the playoffs as well. Westbrook gave the Clippers 11.1/5.2/4.5 on 45% from the field. Bones Hyland may or may not find his way back into the rotation following the injury.

Also of note, Scottie Barnes also broke his hand tonight. The Wolves play the Raptors next month.

Your are saying the Clippers are now a much more formidable opponent  Raptors are done for the year anyway. They haven't beat a Western playoff team since Jan 7th.

The Western conference standing are just crazy. Last year, everyone hovers around .500. This year, the bottom feeders are no better than 3-7 in the last 10 games. Almost all the play off/in teams are 7-3 or better. If you go 5-5, you drop 3 spots. I think the trend will continue which means Wolves will need to go at least 15-7 for the remainder of the season to even have a chance to stay at #1.

I think we can go 15-7.

Lakers just can't come up with a stop when they need one. DEN wins again. 6 in a row.

Booker hurt with 1:15 to go for the Suns. HOU is going to win. I hope Suns still have enough players and energy for tomorrow's vs OKC.

I'm not sure about the Mavericks. They did look a lot better after that trade but they are struggling lately again, maybe just a slump but that's another team that people like Barkley are starting to hype up and I don't see it. Not saying they can't win a series but I don't see them doing long term damage at least not more than teams above them.
