I have been pretty close as of recent in drafting/predictions

I wanted Brandon Miller (until he became popular) which we picked
I wanted Josh Primo (ended up the pick right after the pick and was doing well until.... lol)
I wanted Mark Williams (ended up drafting him)
I rated Craig Porter JR over Scoot Henderson (so far so good but jury still out) that will make up for my Toni Carr pick lmao

I love RJ being a die hard TAR HEEL fan who plays state today on ESPN at 4:00 BTW lol. But he isn't a TRUE PG more of a combo PG imo which benefits him being undersized. I think RJ is a great player to invite to camp and could be a solid guy to have as a
2nd and a 1/2 PG (meaning a lil better than a 3rd stringer) but maybe a tad behind a backup...

I actually thought both RJ and Bacot would both go undrafted before the season. RJ has shown me signs he can probably make a NBA roster and possibly have a Quinn Cook type of career.

I agree on Ingram being our best NBA prospect though.

Hopefully they can win the Nat'l championship this year. Would be nice for Bacot to finish his career with a championship. That dude was loyal all 4 years.

I'm glad you mentioned matas buzelis. I definitely don't dislike you, sir. I just get confused on how you evaluate the draft sometimes.

Aww I definitely don't dislike you sir either sir lol. I'm just being myself thats all. I couldn't choose the guys you guys choose if I tried. Me just naming those players above has me considering seeking therapy lmao. I always like having my own path. I do appreciate your picks and all others here. Diversity is KING and QUEEN lol

Shoutout to my guy RayJ Dennis. He had a great game against Kansas today, I think 19 pts 10 assist or something.

I forgot about this guy. He could be this years Austin Reaves

Matas with a good game. He has a High defensive upside. Blocking shots isn't new to him. I don't know how to post with my phone, but he should be the guy l.

So far, my take on this draft breaks this way:

"Safe" tier:
1: Sarr.
2-4: Buzelis, Risacher, Cody Williams.

Safe because of their projected archetype (mobile defensive big, big playmaking wing, etc.) and a relatively easy path to meeting that projection. Like I wouldn't blink if Sarr turns out to be Nick Richards on offense as long as he lives up to his potential on D.

"Swing for the fences" tier:
5+++: Holland, Sheppard, Topic.

Prospects with intriguing high-ceiling potential but also obvious questions about their path to getting there.

"Real draft begins" tier:
Castle, Edey, Filipowski, Furphy, Tyler Smith, Walter, +++

Here because their projected archetypes (Non-shooting POA stopper, Non-defending skilled big, etc.) come off as less desirable regardless of their path to realizing it, and more dependent on roster construction to become useful. Just my impression though.

Stephon Castle is starting to grow on me.

He's similar to Cody Williams, but he looks more advanced at this stage than Cody.

Yeah he's caught my attention as of late. Looks NBA ready even as a freshman. Reminds me of a young Jimmy Butler. Just a guy who doesn't jump out on your screen but knows how to get to his spots and make plays.

Yearly reminder that strong tournament performances and likewise bad performances, can change draft stock significantly. It's something Euros and G-league guys miss out on.

In essence, the tournament is to basketball what the combine is to the NFL in my mind. NBA teams are far more independent on their boards as compared to the NFL as well. All this to say, our minds can change a lot in the next month.

Having said that, I do tend to agree with NYCUNC, Buzelis and Risacher are high up on my board. You can never have too many big wings who can shoot the 3 and cut to the basket.
