Mavs are playing exactly the same offense with Luka and without Luka, unfortunately there's no open shots without him. I would expect something different from the coach.

Problem is, Kyrie is trying to force it and he's not doing any playmaking. While Exum defers too much to him instead of making plays. If Luka sits there is no one that gets them open looks. It's just playground basketball right now until someone goes hot.

Maybe you didn't noticed, but they had many open shots with Luka, unfortunately Luka was missing easy shots. You really don't want anyone else than Luka, Kyrie and Exum initiating anything, even fast breaks.

Luka/Lively combo is absolutely brutal in the best way possible. They'll have to play 40+ mins for Mavs to have a chance.
