Good question. Powell has the worst plus/minus on the Clippers over the last 10 games, and not counting G-Leaguers, Bones has the worst on the season [except for Tucker].

This, again, goes back to PG on defense ... when he's out there, we're simply much better guarding the perimeter. With him, Powell and (when/if he plays) Bones are scorers and passers, and are much more likely to guarding players their own size. They can *focus* on scoring and passing. Take Paul George out, and Norm and Bones move up in rotations and have to guard bigger players, and that hurts them--and us--on both sides.

Yes, PG is missed more on the defensive end. Despite his scoring slump, he was still one of the leaders in plus/minus. In total, he was not hurting the team, in fact still a positive. We lost the two games he missed.
And Russ will be missed too--Powell and Bones are not as good on D, and Beard is no great shakes either. That's a critical mass of suck. Ty seems quite aware that moving Bizzy back into the rotation is fraught defensively--it's probably why he was dropped in the first place. It just shows how much Ty is walking a tightrope with the chemistry and rotations.

It’s scary when you think about how much defense we lose without Russ & PG. Harden’s quickness and accuracy with his hands/ball slaps do help a lot though.
Don’t have other options to initiate that 2nd unit offense.
Should be interesting how we do. Take 1 of 2 on these games and be happy is my hope.

Spot on. Unfortunately, Mann proved he can't play the point. And Powell, forget it. PG can do it, but he hates it, and can't be a FORCE while he's being a pack mule. Russ did a lot of scut work around here. Brought up the ball, rebounded great for a guard. Pressured/attacked on-ball.
So, Bizzy, you're ON. "They also serve who stand and wait." Well, they've made you wait. You ARE the Next Man Up. Stand and deliver.

The Bucks game--on the road, a b2b-- is relatively meaningless. THIS game counts double in the WC seeding.

T-Pups? Oh you mean the Wolves that have been trashing us?
We don't have the right to address these teams as anything besides their names. Unless we start beating them and winning something of consequence.

Agreed. The Timberwolves have been laughing at us and calling names. Old and slow. Singing it in the hauls after games. They have every right because they’ve backed their play up with it. Unlike our guys who thought it was cute to laugh and howl on the bench when Gobert air balled those free throws. They’re not laughing now are they?
I don’t always agree with Jim Jackson on the broadcast but he addressed it last game when talking about the upcoming road trip. He specifically mentioned this game and how our guys need to come out and play with pride and send a message.

Dumb start all ready.
Harden and PG thinking they can dribble cute in front of McDaniels and Edwards.

Have to make shots. That’s the only way to open the paint on this team somewhat. Where are our 40 plus percent 3 point shooter when we play this team??

T-Pups huh? Maybe they didn't see our game thread title yet.
We can't beat the upper echelon teams but our board sure has the audacity to make it look like we own these teams. LMFAO!!

PG and Harden sucking again to start this game. At least Kawhi and Norm are hitting their shots.

Only Kawhi and Powell came to play. Everyone else looking OLD and SLOW.
Wish the team had some sense of urgency, Wolves look like they want to flat out embarass us and we are playing like it's a Sunday scrimmage.

Terrible first quarter. Thank goodness for Powell or else this would already be a total blowout.

Norm saving the day. PG and Harden better get it together quick and give Boston a look if Coffey keeps playing scared

Is Zu not capable of playing decent BB anymore? All zeros so far. I'd have started Theis.
